I've been intrigued by the process of mapping Disneyland and the other parks since I first pored over the fold-out map in the August 1963 issue of The National Geographic.

Each of the twenty-four beautifully illustrated maps brings to life the movies we know and love, and each comes with further information about the movie and the characters. Definitely could have done with more (We always want more don't we😂) and would recommend for Disney fans.

There were quite a handful of maps that I’ve never seen before and they also offered a lot of preliminary drawings of the maps. In these unique retellings, you get to see in detail what happened when the beast was transformed, what the story behind Snow White's wicked queen is, and why Ursula hated those poor unfortunate souls! We have the perfect first book collection for them with our I Can Be Princess My First Library 12 Board Book Block. Years later I had the privilege of meeting Herb Ryman who mapped 'The Happiest Place on Earth' for Walt Disney before it was even built (! However, I've only given it 4 stars as it arrived slightly scuffed - not the end of the world but not ideal if it's intended as a present.
