Selectable as either standard, powerful or soft. Standard will fire at whatever wattage you’ve selected. Soft will give a slow ramp-up to your set wattage. Powerful will act like a pre-heat function, initially firing at a higher wattage then dropping down to your selected wattage. Variable Temperature Control (TC) As with most external battery mods, there are 2 ways in which you can charge the battery(s). Either in the mod itself or using an external charger (recommended). To get to this menu, press the fire button 3 times, then straight after, press and hold down the +/- buttons for 3 seconds. Use the +/- buttons to scroll through the different options. Once an option is highlighted, press the fire button to get you into that screen menu.

Bypass Mode (BP) Two coils are supplied with the Aegis X 200W kit but unfortunately both are the same type, the Mesh X1 KA1 0.2 ohm coil. There are 6 variable wattage settings, each adjustable from 5W to 200W with each setting being adjustable over a time range of 0.5 seconds to 1.2 seconds. This releases the top section from the main body, allowing you to simply lift the top section of the tank away. There are two pretty decent sized e-juice openings, choose either one to fill with your favorite e-liquid. Flavor and vapor was intense but too powerful for me. Fair to say though, I didn’t have any dry hits but did have to keep an eye on the e-liquid level as it was decreasing at an alarming rate.
