Description

The Sage Oracle Touch is an impressive espresso machine that stands out from the competition with its unique features. First, I select the drink I want to make using the intuitive touch screen. The Oracle Touch can brew two cups of coffee at once, perfect for those mornings when my girlfriend and I need our caffeine fix simultaneously. This feature is incredibly convenient, especially when we are both in a rush. You already have five pre-set options to choose from. Usually, having an espresso machine ends up becoming another addictive hobby. With these options, it doesn’t have to be. This, along with its dual boilers and heated group head, enables it to craft a balanced espresso no matter how small the difference in degrees can cause an otherwise delicious cup of coffee to take on an undesirable ashy flavour. Based on your programmed settings, the steam wand will automatically texture milk to the desired temperature and consistency. The cafe-quality micro-foam is very impressive and provides the perfect finishing touch to your cappuccino or flat white. You can even try your hand at some latte art! What do users say about the Oracle Touch?

Seven months ago, I got my hands on the Sage Oracle Touch coffee machine. I wanted to specifically craft that ideal espresso at home every single time. The Barista Touch is a modern espresso machine with a Dual ThermoJet heating system and colour touch screen. This is a good alternative for smaller households, or those looking for a more wallet friendly option. Breville the Oracle The Breville Oracle Touch is not the best option for for users wanting to learn the ins-and-outs of espresso making. There is less control over the grind settings compared to using a separate grinder, and the machine uses a lot of smart features to help deliver a balanced espresso shot. On the downside, a built-in grinder also rides roughshod over some of the subtleties that are only achievable with a separate, pro-grade grinder. But for the kind of users the Breville Oracle Touch caters to, this is an acceptable trade-off.Remove the portafilter, insert it into the group head, and you’re ready to start the espresso making process.

The Oracle Touch is considered a “Dual Boiler” because it has a dedicated espresso boiler along with a second dedicated boiler for the steam wand. This drastically speeds up the coffee making process as it means the boiler doesn’t have to switch from one task to another. The dedicated boilers also help deliver more precise water temperatures for each process. Then, if you want to add new custom drinks, select the “create new” option on the screen and adjust the settings to add your favourite. The Breville Oracle Touch lets users customise everything from the grind, to the espresso temperature and volume, to the milk consistency and temperature. This allows users to create a cup of coffee that is perfectly suited to their individual preferences. Up to 8 different coffees can be saved and easily accessed via the intuitive touch screen. Here’s where things get interesting. While you could totally use the Breville Oracle Touch like a regular espresso machine – by preparing espresso then steaming milk – it’s been designed to feel more automatic. The screen will also guide you through making your drink, with a step-by-step tutorial. The Sage Oracle Touch’s milk steam wand produces silky textured milk. Making Custom Coffees The Barista Touch has a capacity of 250g, whilst Sage Oracle Touch takes it a bit further with 280g capacity. • Group Head This brings us to another big perk – you can customise the pre-programmed coffees to taste with the manual features. With the best coffee subscription in the UK , you'll never have to worry about running out of great coffee; we'll ensure that you always have the perfect espresso at your fingertips!

A built-in, coffee bean grinder has eliminated the need for a separate grinder, saving space in my kitchen and streamlining the entire brewing process. The adjustable grind size and amount features ensure I always get the perfect grind for my espresso. Personalised Profiles No matter which machine you choose, our coffee subscription can provide freshly roasted speciality coffee beans to ensure you get the best-tasting espresso possible. However, if you’re after something that looks a little more timeless, the Oracle Touch is probably the way to go. Why Should I Choose the Sage Oracle Touch Espresso Machine? The stainless steel finish gave it an elegant, professional appearance. Which would fit seamlessly into any kitchen setting and in particular mine. Alongside the machine, I found the following accessories: Thanks to the portafilter principle, you’re assured of bona fide espresso with real crema. In fact, the results are not just comparable to professional espresso machines but virtually indistinguishable. Breville Oracle Touch Features

The integrated grinder and auto-tamper are a big bonus for budding baristas because those are the two areas where they’re usually on shakier ground when making espresso. Not least because it does look rather lovely. The touchscreen is bright and colourful and the design and graphics are as pleasingly stylish as the Oracle Touch’s physical exterior. All the cutely-styled little coffee icons are labelled clearly and the interface is pretty easy to understand without having to pore through the instruction booklet – and, moreover, tapping the ‘i’ symbol gives you a helping hand when you need it, so you’ll mostly be able to leave the manual in the drawer. Indeed, there is no bean-to-cup machine we’ve found that can compete with the sheer depth of flavour or the flexibility of a good manual espresso machine. The Oracle Touch’s appeal is that it takes both the guesswork and some of the work out of the equation and allows even absolute beginners to produce a very fine array of coffees. The downside? It’s not as flexible as fully manual machines and, once you’ve got the hang of things, you may begin to crave more control. Sometimes, you can have trouble achieving the perfect froth. This problem often stemmed from improper milk steaming technique or a dirty steam wand. The Stability Blend brings together the sweetness of caramel and milk chocolate with nutty undertones. The Level Up Blend is a full-bodied espresso blend that combines earthy spice notes and dark cocoa. Finally, our Rotate Espresso offers a dark chocolate flavour that lingers on the palate.

The PID temperature controller helps maintain a consistent brewing temperature throughout the extraction process. This has led to balanced and flavourful shots, free of bitterness or sourness. You can easily choose a preset drink – just scroll across the drink selection and press “brew” on your favourite. Both machines have an adjustable PID temperature setting, but the Oracle Touch chips in a shot control feature for monitoring espresso extraction time. The Barista Touch also includes an innovative ThermoJet heating system.
