I also tried using Android app "huaCtrl" (available in the Google PlayStore) to change bands on both the B525 and B535, but I still couldn't get the B525 to go to LTE+ If you can get an EE signal you can get 35mhz of capacity on Band 3 in many areas, as they have 20mhz followed by a second band 3 signal of 15mhz, which can be aggregated together. Plus band 20 (5mhz). Also have to think how many people are using each network. You can often get figures from company annual reports. Less people on less bandwidth is still good speeds. I also have a 525 branded three.ie. I find that as long there is a good 3G signal I can use the telephone. The settings must be on automatic but you can use the LTE inspecteur to select the bands you wish to use to get the best results. It does not always return to these bands when the call terminates. Sometimes you'll have to reset to your chosen settings.

To make comparisions you need to know the available bands for the operator and then look at RSRP signal and SINR rather than signal strength (RSSI) Can anyone confirm if they have got bridge mode working? I want to use my 525 as a modem only with a new Asus router. Honestly, now that 5G is in full swing there is no benefit to the -65a in the UK/Europe as no new 4G bands are going to be certified. This firmware gives an awful lot more to the interface too, not just Bridge mode. If you can get a Vodafone or Osignal then you find their band 20 has 10mhz of capacity, and both are converting band 1 (2100mhz) to 4G in many areas, I believe both have 10mhz of band 1. In reply to a post by smithbill:my B525 is 18months oldI don't believe his is much younger, I think I recall him saying he bought it around the summer of 2018 and the firmware and UI versions haven't changed since his had it. Be interesting to know why the 23a doesn�t support the combination for CA but does support each band individually if the manual is correct.
