Before I do that & say anything about this book, Forever Never, let me preface the following by saying I still view Lucy Score as a very talented writer and I still have every intention of reading more of her books. Until proven otherwise, I have a feeling there’s a good possibility Forever Never is just an anomaly. Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like she was trying something here & it just didn’t work…at least for me. I’m most certainly not trying to dissuade anyone from the rest of her books. My previous LS reads were some of the better reads I’ve had this year. It’s a Lucy Score book, so sex is kind of expected, right. Her other books at least had some depth and feel and moments of LOL and stronger heroines who aren’t lame, practically begging for sex constantly, sex puppies who can’t string a thought together because all she can think about is sex. The only conversations as far as I recall, between the H&H were whole they were having sex. CHILDREN, like 8 and 10, are discussing their GENDER identity, naming numerous gender terms that are in mainstream media right now and discussing their own while asking Remi what hers is. It felt very much like the A was forcing their opinion on the reader. I also hated the sister and her best friend. There seemed to be a theme of crapping all over Remi bc of their insecurities and it’s like no big deal but it definitely should have been. I love it when you box me in like this. When you don't give me an escape." - Doormat, erm, female leading character, sorry again. And it's not a cynical comment, she really means it.

Working as a nanny for the world’s grumpiest single dad should have been simple. Except I can’t keep my eyes off him. And he can’t keep his hands off of me. I LOVE Blue Moon, every character and book has had my heart! Niko's adoration for Emma from the beginning was awesome! I love this book as much as I have loved the other three. The quirky town with the quirky characters is all so vivid in my mind I want to find it and move there! Cannot wait for the next book! I recommend all of Lucy Score's books, they are perfectly vivid, sweet, and fun! - Leigha The story went that little Remi Ford caused a fuss in kindergarten when she demanded a pink crayon to write her Es because everyone knew Es were pink. It took a few years, but her parents finally got an answer from a specialist. Their daughter’s brain created extra connections, tying colors to things like letters, words, people.Davis spends his days gently wrestling control of the family winery from his father’s semi-retired hands. He doesn’t have time for things like dating and love. Especially since he never got over hurting his dream girl in a fog of teenage stupidity. Now, they’re neighbors… and the latest generation to carry on their families’ ridiculous, fifty-year feud. what follows is admittedly a rambly one & I probably could do better. Honestly, I’m just ready not to think about this one anymore. So below is more of a reminder to myself why I won’t be rereading this, to air out my grievances…just a smidge 😉 & cut to the chase << might be spoilery, so fyi.} this book is centered on miscommunication. but they communicated everything yet still didn’t trust each other’s words. so basically they communicated but didn’t know what was real what was not.

Firstly, the cover isn't fitting in my opinion. It made me think that it would be a cheap summer / holiday romance and it wouldn’t be my cuppa, but that was not the case. Okay, yeah. It wasn't my cuppa, but it wasn't a sweet holiday romance either. It was darker, more angsty, there was some drama and suspense, and the story took place mainly in winter. I’m drawing it out for effect. Jeez. This is the longest conversation I’ve had with someone I didn’t marry or give birth to in three months. Let me have this,” she insisted. At the end we have 4 people who are very close to each other, in an almost incesty vibe - as one happy family. he always knew she wanted to get out of the small town and wouldn’t ever settle but he didn’t want to leave I want to use you. I want to ruin you." - Male leading character, trying to charm the female leading character and prove to her how much he loves her.Remi’s cheeks pinked up. “You’re looking a nice bright green today just like always,” she told him.

Forever Never - Kindle edition by Score, Lucy. Romance Kindle

Like earlier said, Lucy Score does a fantastic job in her characterization. You will enjoy reading about the initially arranged romance between Luke and Harper. Harper, the heroine is affectionate, cheerful, kind, hardworking and courageous. Also, Luke, the male protagonist is funny, sweet, mysterious and intense. Something happened to him that he is not able to forget and that has made him not able to advance in many aspects of his life. Other characters that appear in the story include Aldo, Sophie, Gloria, Claire, Charlie, Frank, Joni, and Ty who are essential to the story. Perhaps not the most unpredictable, but the tension of the suspense element was well built up & kept me hanging in there all throughout. So glad this is a series and not a once in a Blue Moon story. Lucy Score takes you on a return trip to Blue Moon in Not Part of the Plan. It feels like a trip home with the familiar characters, the laughter and most importantly the love. The great thing about this book is that it reminds us about all of the different kinds of love in the world, romantic love, friend love, family love and community love. Niko is an interesting character that takes a trip to Blue Moon to visit a friend and discovers a part of himself he didn't realize was missing. Get ready to fall for Niko and For Blue Moon to steal your heart again. - Just Me The “forbidden” elements were never validated. Piling up obstacles that have no real weight is 😴. Seriously, why bother? Lucy Score is an instant #1 New York Times bestselling author. She grew up in a literary family who insisted that the dinner table was for reading and earned a degree in journalism.

For the past fifteen years, Eden has worked her ass off to overcome high school. She’s cornered the tourism market in Blue Moon offering visitors a place to stay in her hippie, dippy hometown. Business is booming, she’s close—but not too close—to family, and she’s got two dogs to keep her company. Life is perfect. Almost.

as much as i wanna get into explaining the plot and the characters. i dont know how to do that. it’ll just put everyone off. no words can describe how complicated yet uncomplicated this book was. Not into the romantic partner musical chairs. Yes, there are exceptions once in awhile, but here’s a big ol’ NOPE. I’ll slap that sweet little ass of yours so hard, every man on this island will hear you scream my name and know you belong to me.” Mira rushed in to give the prodigal a hug. “Are you surprising your parents?” she asked. “I know they missed you at Christmas this year.” Since I have read romance, one of the main conflicts presented is the idea that one of the partners feels they aren't worthy of the other. There is something in the past, maybe not even of their doing that has caused this feeling of not being able to fully love the other person. It can cause so much pain and misunderstandings...and reflects so much of Real Life. You wanted to know why I married Audrey? You should be asking why we divorced. Because of you. Your name is the last word I breathe every night. Your face is the one I see when I close my eyes. I couldn’t hide that from her.” hero was married to heroine’s bff years after the bff and heroine stop talking. hero then divorces the bff. YEARS later heroine and hero reunite. Now, keep this under your hats because rumor has it her family doesn’t know yet,” she said, leaning in and dropping her voice to a whisper.
