(i'm a firm believer in the fact that if you're doing nothing to make your situation better, the least you could do is not whine) I didn’t feel a spark between the MCs. I don’t really know what happened, it started pretty great but they kept so many secrets from each other, plus the fact that the trip wasn’t really that romantic considering Theo’s granddad was with them most of the time and she was working through her grief. So when they started to be intimate with each other I was like hold up a minute, how did we get here exactly?? I felt there was something missing; the build-up didn’t really have any substance apart from them having been rivals in high school but that was years ago at this point (and they haven’t seen each other since)
