I agree with Samuel Lucifer: I think it's too late and not that useful anyway. Lots of people might appreciate cheaper options but others might prefer Fuji lenses. I would not buy the Sigma 16mm f1.4 if I can find a used Fuji version at a decent price. The Sigma looks bigger and uglier... As for accuracy, I can say it has a very high accuracy rate, probably around 95%. Why not 100%? Because I do encounter a few off-focused results when the little green box has lit up. For under low light situations, this lens still performs well most of the time. LEFT: Fuji X-E4 . Sigma 30mmF1.4 @30mm . f/1.4 . 1/160″ . ISO 800 . Classic Neg The AF Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 XF was released in August 2020 and in comparison, we had to wait till January 2021 before the Fujifilm counterpart, the XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR, saw the light of day. So both arguments were used, and a lot of times, when in reality you will either have better sharpness with more vigneting, or less vigneting without better sharpness. I've taken a series of images with the fuji f1.4 and the same with the Viltrox 23mm lens so you can see the results for yourself and compare the two.

Don’t forget correction is automatically applied to Fuji lens, so things like vignetting are not noticed unless you go out of your way to see the actual raw file produced. A lot of us love large maximum aperture lenses but they are, often times, a lot more expensive. I feel the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 kind of levels the playing field a bit. This is a decent lens that offers a lot, and costs less than even Fuji’s own 23mm f2 version. That’s pretty cool in my book, and don’t forget, this lens also has autofocus as well. So, if you’re looking for a 35mm equivalent lens, and want a large maximum aperture without a heft price tag, the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 is a great option to consider. Flange range difference between E-Mount and Z mount is just 1mm. This would aesthetically make not much difference. Got my copy of Viltrox 23mm and couldn't be happier. It is really sharp and colors look gorgeous. I don't have the Fuji 23mm 2.0 to compare, but it compares quite favorably to my 16-55 2.8 Fuji lens. I was debating between this and Fuji 23 2.0, but this is even cheaper than 2.0, and you get 1.4 to boot. It’s at its worst at around f5.6. Unfortunately, if you are using the camera's built-in mic, this noise will be recorded. I've tested it with an external mic attached to the hot shoe too and although not as noticeable it is still heard between f5.6 to f16. Overall, I think this piece of glass does strike a good balance between price, image quality and the tradeoffs. Plus, it is made in Japan. Fuji X-T3 . Sigma 30mmF1.4 @30mm . f/1.4 . 1/5000″ . It has only been a couple of weeks since my last Viltrox review and as a spoiler alert, I predict that this review of the AF 23mm f/1.4 XF in many ways will echo my review of the Viltrox AF 33mm f/1.4 XF.
