Description

The Loonboss is the moon-headed hero to lead (and presumbaly buff) your Grot Stabbas. Proudly standing on a boss-fungus. Symbol of the moon to embody the power of the Bad Moon god and show status. This book offers all the knowledge and rules you need to command your own grot horde in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Discover the petty and vindictive history of the grots, learn the legends of the Bad Moon, and find out how the Era of the Beast has energised them anew.

The different clans of the Gloomspite Gitz worship a terrifying celestial body known as the Bad Moon. This revolting orb veers haphazardly through the heavens above the Mortal Realms, shedding its evil light and leering maniacally at the terrified mortals below. I haven’t forgotten about that list of things I would do for December, I will still do them. But I was reading this and wanted to talk about it.)This battletome is also available in a luxury Limited Edition with the same exclusive trappings as the beastmen, befitting the shiniest horde of Gloomspite loot. It’s also limited to 250 numbered copies. Squigboss with Gnasha-squig These curious Squigs are the first to scent the growing looncap mushrooms that herald the Bad Moon’s arrival, and on the battlefield, the looncaps they harvest can intoxicate even the lowliest Moonclan warriors into fearsome fighters… though it might cost them their lives.” The Fellwater Troggoths have received a strong offensive boost for their shooting and melee weapons. However, the healing is not as strong as it once was. Speaking of Goatmen, this is just that! A brand new HQ model to pair off with all those new rules! Battletome: Gloomspite Gitz If that doesn’t sound like your cup of fungus brew, we have a guide to the other Age of Sigmar armies to help you decide on a more suitable faction.

Grots of the Mortal Realms, rise up! It is time to overthrow all dem gitz wot live on da surface, in a frenzy of mushroom-fuelled action.* The Gloomspite Gitz are known for their erratic nature, but with Ghur in ascendancy these diminutive greenskins have got their act together in the worst possible way. At the start of the second and each subsequent battle round, before the priority roll, the player commanding the Gloomspite Gitz army rolls a dice. If more than 1 player in the battle is commanding a Gloomspite Gitz army, then those players roll off and the winner rolls the dice. On a 1-3, the Bad Moon does not move and instead stays at its current location. On a 4+, it moves to the next location. When the Bad Moon moves off the battlefield, it has no further effect on the battle. Squig hoppers now have their own modern plastic kit with interchangeable riders and customisable squigs. The Bad Moon moves in one direction unless it is manipulated. Skragrott can manipulate the path of the Bad Moon – move it or hold it place.Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server, and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today! With each new army for Warhammer Age of Sigmar we now get a faction specific terrain piece which is deployed at the start of the battle without a points cost – think Sylvaneth Wyldwoods, Deepkin boats, Maggotkin of Nurgle trees and Beasts of Chaos herdstones. For Gloomspite Gitz, it is the Loonshrine. The 41st Millennium has its own share of terrifying monsters, and down on Necromunda the Ash Waste Nomads delight in herding oversized insectile beasts towards the pernicious hive-dwellers who invade their lands. This particular resin Herder comes with one Arthromite Duneskuttler – a frightening amalgam of talons, tail, and bad attitude. The duo can be enlisted together as a Brute for your Ash Waste Nomad gangs. Battletomes initially featured only Warscrolls and Warscroll Battalions for each faction and Battleplans for gameplay. This has been updated since July 2nd, 2016, with the release of Battletome: Sylvaneth (2016) to include Allegiance Abilities that allow the use of specific command traits, spell lores, prayer lists, allies, and artefacts if certain faction-specific build rules are followed. [3]

There are two different Spell Lores available to Gitz, one for Moonclan wizards ( Lore of the Moonclans) and one for Spiderfang wizards ( Lore of the Spiderfang). More details in the specific section. Start collecting or building up some bulk with your new Gitz rules by getting this vanguard that has a ton of the models you’ll need to play. Warscroll Cards: Gloomspite Gitz They also promised a ton of buffs in this battletome, so things are looking up for the goblins! Wolf Riders Are Now Snarlfang Riders! Gobbos are allowed to be a little bit silly and throughout the book there is just the slightest edge of it almost making fun of the more serious apsects of the setting. The "Everdank" being one. This works because it fits the mindset of the Grots, it probably wouldn't work the same way for a more 'serious' race.

Gloomspite Gitz Artefacts

Grots would often seek help from other creatures with which they share their habitat, often after becoming their meal and having satisfied their hunger. Dumb Troggoths come from the darkest caves, spiders hail from the forests and the squigs are fungal creatures bred for the most convenient scopes. What the bad moon does is provide a benefit to any unit under its light, which means wholly within the large quarter that the moon is occupying, or the entire board if it’s in the centre.
