Midrange and Treble capabilities: Very nice and smooth, however, like all class D amps have a tendency to do at times (but becoming rarer with each new release), some instruments may still come through with a slight "steely" quality to them, like stringed instruments in a large symphony orchestra. However, the TB10D does a much better job than most in this department. Mini classic simple design with bass, treble, and volume control. On the rear are banana plug connectors that can also accept a raw wire.

Fosi Audio TB10D Mini Class D Amplifier Reviewed

I tested the Fosi Audio TB10D by connecting it to an SMSL DO200 MKII on one side and a pair of Q Acoustics Concept 20 on the other. Even though the THD or total harmonic distortion is high, the price performance value of the Fosi Audio TB10D is high, with the Amplifier having a super nice sound for the money paid, and with the price being what you’d typically pay for entry-level Chifi IEMs or Earphones, this is a nice deal I can recommend anyone who’s looking for the most affordable HIFI Stereo Amplifier. It has more than enough power for most headphones, and while Fosi Audio products look similar, they also sound fairly similar, so go with the one that has all the features you need, the differences in sound won’t be high enough to justify the price difference. power supply, with 10db attenuators max volume is low compared to my BT20A (older version) much more without, a little sparkle sound when using my 24v power supply, power was on from the psu when connected to the amp that was off One thing to note is that the TB10D isn’t entirely transparent or neutral. It has a distinct character that some listeners may find appealing, while others may prefer a more neutral sound. However, this character is what makes the TB10D stand out from other budget amplifiers and gives it a unique sound signature. They work well, though they’re small and cramped and difficult to adjust without accidentally nudging adjacent controls. This is par for the course – though digital controls with buttons might have been a better design. The tone controls also have no central detent, so there’s no way of knowing when you’re at the flat position unless you’re familiar with the loudspeakers and can set them by ear.

Per chi riesce a farsi piacere la musica mediante bluetooth, invece, consiglio senza esistare il modello di questo amp. con il ricevitore integrato, costa poco di più, ha la stessa amplificazione, e il BT in più. It’s not the widest, or most airy amp I’ve heard, however using it for a second system, or to driver some smaller speakers in a desktop situation this is actually a very impressive amp. The tone controls work very well, you can finely tune the sound and add a little more body or take away a little treble if needs be for your own personal tastes. Clear midrange, somewhat energetic highs out of the box, good punchy, tight, mabye a little dry, not super deep bass, wider soundstage, depth than my bt20a, good dynamics, punch in the lows playing the spirit of dun dun by steve smith, nothing like a big amp and thigh sounding speakers with 12" pa subs, bass (could be big jbl tower speakers) but stil good, musical In my testing, the TB10D never even got warm, it will easily handle a lot of speakers out there and drive them to very loud volumes which is mightily impressive for its size. I don’t feel this is going to try and replace integrated amps in main hifi systems, due to it’s price, functionality and form factor, however if you set your expectations right I really cannot see anyone not enjoying what this amp has to offer.

Fosi TB10D vs Topping LA90 (David vs Mini Goliath) - Reddit Fosi TB10D vs Topping LA90 (David vs Mini Goliath) - Reddit

The high-efficient 2.0CH 300Wx2 desktop power amplifier can drive almost home large passive bookshelf speakers ensuring top-notch sound quality and is compatible with most sound equipment such as computers, DVDs, CD players, PC, laptops, TV, etc. This power amp engineered with the audiophile in mind, the integrated class D amplifier provides a powerful output of 300W+300W. It excels in efficiency, enabling it to achieve a substantial overall power output of up to 600 Watts, satisfying the pursuit of high-fidelity sound. Depth and air around the instruments: The TB10D does an average job here - nothing exceptional, yet good enough. However, for class D amps in general, this particular intangible quality is often elusive. PRaT, Texturization, Detail, Resolution, Dynamics, Impact, and overall tonality are all revealed by those songs. We recommend trying most of the songs from this playlist, especially if you’re searching for new music!Despite these limitations, the Fosi Audio Power Amplifier still performs well within its power limitations. The lower voltage may result in a slightly reduced output, but it still delivers clear and crisp sound quality. If you don't require the full 300-watt output and are satisfied with slightly lower power, the included transformer should suffice. The main speakers I connected to the Fosi Audio TB10D have been KLH Model Five, NHT C3, and Buchardt S400. The DACs I used to power it have been SMSL C200, Khadas Tone 2 PRO, Aune X1s GT, HIFIMAN EF400, and JDS Labs Elk DAC II+ Balanced. The overall sonic signature of the Fosi Audio TB10D is very similar to that of the Fosi Audio BT30D, both of them have a really dynamic, punchy sound, with good instrument separation, and overall clarity. Please keep in mind that besides the default signature, the bass and treble can be uplifted heavily with the EQ potentiometers which do not increase the distortions or cause considerable problems, so the signature of TB10D can be altered drastically. Also, if anything, my experience with Fosi Audio, along with SMSL AO200, Arylic A50+, and Burson Funk has proven to me once again, that the quality of the speakers is far more important than the quality of the dac and the amplifier, and with a decent AMP , decent DAC, both entry-level , but with a really high-quality pair of speakers like the KLH Model 5, you can have a blast. Class D has made huge improvements in the last 10 years or so and Ti look to have one of the best budget chips on the market and this Fosi seems like really good implementation of that chip. A few things in this review though…

Fosi Audio TB10D [Upgraded Version] stereo MEASUREMENTS: Fosi Audio TB10D [Upgraded Version] stereo

Operating the Fosi Audio TB10D is a breeze, thanks to its intuitive control layout. The front panel features a power switch, volume knob, and input selection buttons, providing straightforward access to the amplifier's essential functions. The inclusion of LED indicators for power status and input selection adds to the user-friendly nature of the device. After some testing, I decided to switch to my Elac B6 Debut speakers, and once again, the TB10D amplifier delivered ample power with ease. Despite its budget-friendly price tag, this amplifier doesn’t skimp on performance, and it’s clear that it can hold its own against more expensive models. This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. The Fosi TB10D is a standard Class-D 2ch stereo amplifier, it has a single pair of RCA inputs and R/L speaker outputs, on the front there is a volume control and the on/off switch. There are also Bass and Treble tone controls on the front of the amp, there is no remote control with the TB10D, the volume has to be manually changed. Mini classic simple design with bass, treble, and volume control. Replaceable Knobs: ORANGE KNOB , GREY KNOB. On the rear are banana plug connectors that can also accept a raw wire. It’s because of this that describing any subjective qualities of the TB10D is not an easy undertaking. This isn’t hi-fi in the true sense, though it’s not supposed to be. If there were a means to bypass the tone circuit, or a reference to adjust them to a flat response, the amp is quite capable of a relatively neutral performance. But this was never designed to be the heart of a hi-fi – it’s designed to be used on a desktop, in a workshop or in an environment where it will be adjusted subjectively to fit the environment, and where objective performance is, for the most part, wholly unimportant. Sound is open, sweet and it reproduces subtle details flawlessly. I've tried this tiny amp with both floor standing dual concentric speakers and with very small bookshelf monitors. It drove each type of speaker easily and both speaker pairs are of medium (not high) sensitivity. If there's a weak spot, it may be in the amp's ability to reproduce a wide sound stage which was good but nothing outstanding.
