Blitz is a simple card game that can be played by anyone who can count to 31 and distinguish suits from each other, making it an ideal game for kids or total beginners. You still play to empty out your Blitz Pile by playing the cards either in to the Dutch Piles or moved over onto the Post Piles. As I’ve already mentioned at the beginning, Dutch Blitz doesn’t have a lot in common with Blitz despite the similarity of their names.

I don’t know if it’s to create more space in the Post or because they didn’t see the card in the first place, but you always need to keep the Blitz first in your mind. Overall, the creators of this game have deemed Dutch Blitz “A Vonderful Goot Game” and I could not agree more. It’s smart, simple, incredibly addicting, and is sure to bring out a competitive side in even your most reserved friends. It’s a small, portable game that could surely take over a Saturday evening, and you won’t be mad that it does. The game is suitable for two players, but it is certainly more fun when more people play since it increases the chances of two players collecting the same suit. Do you have to have the same suit in Blitz?For folks seeking a game with more edge and complexity, Unstable Unicorns combines several compelling game aspects in a high-value product. The illustrations by creator Ramy Badie are cute and clever, in a fantastic anime kind of way. We appreciate that tactics are required to succeed in this game, pushing it beyond its aesthetics to become a well-rounded game. The interplay between lightheartedness (you're playing with charming unicorns) and cut-throat competition creates a fun dichotomy, and the moderate levels of complexity and strategy will keep this game coming out of the closet for more than just one game night. Exploding Kittens is a pretty polarizing game for our testers. Some love the random, kooky, suspenseful nature of the game, while others were slightly bored. It certainly has its worth to many, but we found it to be hit-or-miss. Unstable Unicorns can conjure up some serious competition, so if you live to thwart your opponents, this is an excellent game for that. With the right size group and willingness to get into character, Werewolf can also be extremely entertaining. With the wrong people, though, it can be a dud. Strategy Factor

For our family, it’s playing games. We huddle on the carpet or gather around a table. We create memories like, “ Remember the time Dad tried to cheat at….” or “ I can’t believe you beat me again. Best out of three?” What is the appeal of fast-paced card games? If you have 31 points in hand, you should reveal it as soon as you can (in the next turn). In some variations of Blitz, you even get penalized for not revealing Blitz immediately. It is hilarious when someone is about to win the whole game and another person at the table is like, “hey watch out though guys, I’m really on a streak here. Gettin’ pretty close at negative 22...” This being said, there are a few things that may trip you up, but they are pretty obvious once you’re used to them.That is one of the greatest stunts I've ever seen, and surely one of the greatest stunts ever filmed.
