The char and cocoa give it a bit of complexity, but it doesn’t lend itself to having a fully rich character. It’s a whisky I could easily sip on while cleaning or puttering around the apartment but not something I’d reach for on the regular. If it weren’t for the price I’d say it’s a great starter scotch.
