However, I do agree also with the many conversations I had about this film with my Hollywood producer over what makes a good story and how he feels the science we are assumed to know here sometimes squashes the art of telling an effective story the audience will love. When I reviewed Interstellar during its initial theatrical release I said, "While stupendously broad in scope and epic space adventure, Nolan's "Interstellar" is also frustratingly jam-packed with so much explanation that there's little left up to the imagination. Color Reproduction: Unlike the 1080p Blu-ray version the colors in this 4K presentation are all remarkable here.

Many might yearn for an immersive Dolby Atmos 'upgrade' but it's hard to imagine anything topping this track in terms of sheer intensity.Underscoring the film’s sci-fi/adventure is an emotional center which is a derivative of the fundamentally rich character design which flows through the performances of the ensemble. The 4K presentation is simply exceptional and sensational, sparkling with brilliant whites that pop off the screen with radiant luminosity, making the entire picture from start to finish lively and energetic. Interstellar, may not be the “prefect” film in the eyes of the critics, but lucky for me, with each and every subsequent viewing I partake in, the film just grows on me like untreated mold in a shower or unfortunately cancer. Will Cooper and his crew be able to navigate the dangers of space and save the Earth or are they doomed? Let’s talk briefly about the plot, or how things go down, and of course what works and also what may not.

I think that he has come into his own as a dramatic actor and his performance here is another example of that. This one was interesting because it gives you a chance to semi-understand this complex moment in the film.

That said, when the film launches us into space, and the screen opens up to envelope the IMAX footage - the most amount of IMAX footage Nolan had ever employed - the picture quality somehow, impossibly, attains a whole new level of perfection, soaking up the amazing space sequences and making for some of the best demo footage you'll likely ever see.
