This is the final book in the Dreamland series, and my favourite in the series because of CAL and ALANA, they’re both perfect. He was the one who dreamed about settling down with the his childhood love until his career in the NHL ended after a couple of years leading to depression and dependency on pain killers and alcohol to make it through the day. It always feels hard and bittersweet to say goodbye to a series I've been in love with for so long, but, at least, it was in the best way possible.

For the huge breakdown she had about Cal using her and this was the last time she let him break her heart, Lana sure did forgive him quickly once he was back from a 30-day rehab. I loved that Asher didn’t go with the “love heals all” path; Cal doesn’t instantly change his ways because Alana is back in his life. It became obvious how emotionally invested I was in his love story when I was completely and utterly disappointed by some of his actions. As good old Brady would have it, Cal needs to sell the house that Brady left for him to be able to get his inheritance and help his brothers secure their portion of the Dreamland franchise that Brady created. It’s about Cal and Alana who were childhood friends to lovers and used to spend their summer in Lake Wisteria but they fell apart.

THE THIRD BOOK IS FINALLY HERE, I have been waiting for Cal’s book for so long AND IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT, I LOVE HIM. This was a beautiful romantic, heartfelt, spicy story with both characters and events I hold dear to my heart.

nov 29: put this on hold for a bit since I cant stand Alana and her judgmental ass towards addiction, maybe the hold will be 1 day or 2 months. she worked like A HOT GLUE GUN, on a mission to bring them back together (without even knowing) (my girl was Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible).With Cami only being old enough to be in elementary school she is smart and observant with that childish charm that lowkey freaks Cal out at first but also steals his heart like Lana did.
