Also included are two different cables, a splitter for connecting it to PCs with separate jacks, and a carrying case. The G433 wants to serve as your daily gaming headset but also as your go-to headphones for other moments. Each color of the headset comes with a color-matched removable boom mic with an integrated pop filter, and a second set of ear pads with a microfiber cloth covering instead of the standard “sports mesh” fabric.

The mobile cable is smooth plastic and replaces the volume/mute clip with an in-line mic and command button (tap to pause/play, double-tap to skip forward). The first option you should consider if you’re looking for a wired headset is the Razer Kraken X, which has the same surround sound audio support while also being cheaper than the Logitech G433. The Logitech G433 Gaming Headset stands as a testament to Logitech’s commitment to delivering high-quality audio solutions for gamers.Steelseries came close with the Arctis 5 and its new headband system, but still didn’t quite match HyperX’s pure value proposition. After all, gaming headsets are designed for communicating with teammates and exploring the virtual world, not the real one, and few people will likely see them anyway. The Logitech G433 includes a detachable boom microphone that can be placed closer or further away from your mouth as required.

Also, their companion software gives you access to a graphic EQ and presets to customize their sound. Since the Logitech G433 connects using a headphone jack it’s compatible with the vast majority of computers, smartphones, and games consoles including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch in handheld mode. My style is low-key, so many other headsets with flashing lights and bright green streaks all over feel too conspicuous.

However, the consistency in the treble range is less than 6dB for the most part, which is decent, especially since it happens in a narrow range. headphone jack or by using the included USB adapter should you wish to use surround sound or other G Hub features. This is one of the most complete packages I have seen in a long time and I absolutely love it as everything you need can be found right here. In particular it allows you to set custom EQ profiles, change microphone settings, and enable the advertised 7. The materials are lighter than those in the HyperX Cloud and Razer Kraken V2, but they still feel solid and I prefer the overall look of the design to both of those headsets.

With its looks it aims to be a stylish accessory for those that listen to music on the go and with the removable microphone and interchangeable cables it can be transformed to a real gaming headset. Nothing recreates a surround effect like a bunch of real speakers, but it really added a sense of depth and place to the creeping Typhon in Prey, and I could easily locate the origin of distant shots in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The headband is decently flexible and reinforced with a wide metal frame that should be capable of withstanding a couple of drops and twists without getting damaged or deformed. It features incredible wired mobility that allows for listening with mobile phones, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStaIn the end, most will be sitting by themselves behind a monitor so the appearance would be a minor consideration. The succinct, single-color design is disrupted only by the stylized Logitech “G” on the earcups and headband, and unlike the decals for most gaming headsets, they’re tastefully designed for a pinch of visual flair. The design of the G433 is maybe weird at first sight as it is unconventional from the whole “gaming” vibe (take a look at its bigger brother the G533). Most of the actual body of the headset is plastic, but the headband has a thin strip of steel running through it that extends into the size adjustments. It’s not terrible if you’re using it in a domestic environment, but it doesn’t hold a candle to headsets with active noise canceling if you’re using it on public transit.

You’ll still feel the pads gently pushing into the sides of your face, but I find it reassuring rather than painful, and I don’t get any hotspots on my head or face after a long session.Samsung has just unveiled a one-of-a-kind curved gaming monitor during CES 2022, dubbed the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8. Conversations and quiet music happening in the same room as you will be hardly audible when wearing the headset, but louder noises will be pretty apparent.
