But she quickly gets to exploring this town, and meeting all the locals and their businesses, and soon enough viv finds many different kinds of adventures that will keep her busy while she waits for rackam to come back for her. It attaches a fascinating history to her as each person she comes across in Murk changes her, some only in little ways, others in big ones. It always has a bittersweetness because of the inevitability of the narrative but it’s sweet and warm nevertheless.
