Surround Sound Presentation: A good balance is had on this track for the most part, even if it’s not amazing overall. I had forgotten all about that failed experiment (Bud Ice debuted a few years later and still survives, don't think dry made it to 95! delivering a fountain of information about the film: script, cast, story, themes, structure, and much more. Judging by the image Paramount is using the new remaster that Juice used for the 25th anniversary Blu-ray when it came out, and that means a very nice looking 4K UHD disc. I know I opened this portion of the review on a rough note, but those scant few problem seconds are hardly an issue compared to the rest of this excellent video transfer.

It’s important because of what music means to Q as well as how Dickerson can take the energy found in the lively hip-hop soundtrack and interweave it within the world of these characters. The only real major downsides to the picture is that grain can sometimes spike and clear up from scene to scene, and I noticed some backgrounds and shadow details looking a bit soft.

The rear channels do enough work as well, thanks to all that’s going on with the environment and music that surrounds the characters.
