About this deal

Tarquin finely tunes and orchestrates the unique personalities of each still to create his internationally award-winning spirits. Elephant Orange Cocoa Gin is an invigorating, citrus-fresh gin variant (40% ABV) that surprises with its aromatic complexity of sweet organic oranges and gently roasted cocoa beans. Surrounded by cacao, we started stirring it into cocktails; including both the nibs and shells, as well as the resulting creamy chocolate.

INGREDIENTS: Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Whole MILK Powder, Cocoa Mass, Emulsifier: SOY Lecithin (E322), Natural Vanilla Flavouring. I think the gin itself was very good although it could perhaps have a heavier chocolate focus and so fans of cocoa may be disappointed, fans of gin however will likely be delighted with the spirit.

Cocoa Gin is a very contemporary style of gin, but has a complex and intense flavour and stands up well to use in mixed drinks.

Surprisingly subtle and deliciously dry, the chocolate and juicy orange notes just emerging on the finish. The chocolate is quite subtle, but gradually builds after a few sips, along with some slightly buttery, nutty notes. By blending heritage and expertise of great-tasting, Great British chocolate with modern standards of sustainability and ethics, Love Cocoa is making chocolate history.The newest addition to the team is Ferarra - a state of the art, one-of-a-kind 500 litre copper still.
