About this deal

I thought the narrative read more like a gangland thriller, which is not a genre that I particularly enjoy. The novel recounts the sisters’ work assignments—such as literally building the Birkenau camp block by block—illnesses, interactions with guards and kapos, and brushes with death. Heather Morris is the global bestselling author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Cilka’s Journey, which have sold eight million copies worldwide.

Rich in vivid detail, and beautifully told, Three Sisters will break your heart, but leave you amazed and uplifted by the courage and fierce love of three sisters, whose promise to each other kept them alive. In Heather’s skilful hands, a compelling, inspirational story of the life of the three sisters began to form. Their fight for survival takes them from the hell of Auschwitz, to a death march across war-torn Europe and eventually home to Slovakia, now under iron Communist rule.

Three Sisters is her third novel, and the final piece in the phenomenon that is the Tattooist of Auschwitz series.Still, Alex doesn't have any problems finding this information from company gossip without Damian discussing this with anybody. This is a book about grief, victims, lies and secrets that move around on the shifting sands of fate. The author brings us into the day-to-day horrors of Auschwitz and Birkenau while showing how the love of family and the will to survive can bring about remarkable resiliency.

He knows he will be having a surgery the next day, and wants them to promise him one thing, a promise that they will always take care of each other, no matter what happens. Born in Slovakia, the siblings make a promise to their father that they will always stick together and help each other. Three Sisters is her third novel, and the final piece in the phenomenon that is the Tattooist of Auschwitz series. Not the place one wants to meet a loved one, but still, they were happy at least to be there for each other. For the most of it, I found I was slumped over my kindle, looking forward to reaching the conclusion.I am a Native of New Zealand now resident in Australia, working in a large public hospital in Melbourne.

His mother and her sisters had been at the camps with Sokolov; miraculously, all three survived and went on to emigrate to Israel. As with Morris’ other two books, the story is true and was created with the help of many interviews. There was one thing in regards to what Colin had done that I must didn't surprise me but when the rest was revealed I was absolutely shocked and my heart went out to two of the characters, one for what they did and one who didn't deserve any of what happened to them.
