About this deal

La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water: A soothing water sourced in the town of La Roche-Posay in France and a core ingredient in most of our products. As for hair care, it is a non-volatile silicone meaning that it stays on the hair rather than evaporates from it and smoothes the hair like no other thing. Other than that, salt also works as an emulsion stabilizer in water-in-oil emulsions, that is when water droplets are dispersed in the outer oil (or silicone) phase. Also, works well to fill in fine lines and wrinkles and give skin a plump look (of course that is only temporary, but still, it's nice).

The feel of the lotion is just right on the skin, not greasy or thin, for sensitive and dry flaky skin. Fatty alcohols have a long oil-soluble (and thus emollient) tail part that makes them absolutely non-drying and non-irritating and are totally ok for the skin. It's often paired with glyceryl stearate - the two together form a super effective emulsifier duo that's salt and acid tolerant and works over a wide pH range. The reason for this is that salt acts as a fantastic thickener in cleansing formulas created with ionic cleansing agents (aka surfactants) such as Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Now known as Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream, the lotion contains microbiome technology, ceramide-3 and the brand’s exclusive aqua posae and microresyl technology, the company said.It can be produced from most vegetable oils (in oils three fatty acid molecules are attached to glycerin instead of just one like here) in a pretty simple, "green" process that is similar to soap making.

They mention that it works well on their very dry skin, is just wonderful, and is a brilliant product. The La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm AP+ has been my HG for the last two years and it noticeable smoothed and hydrated my skin… over the summer they reformulated it as “Triple Repair” and removed the mineral oil and it doesn’t hydrate and it also breaks me out. There is not much info about this guy in itself other than it helps to thicken up products and stabilize oil-in-water emulsions. It is suitable for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation*, helping moisturize and comfort sensitive skin. It helps to create low viscosity oil-in-water emulsions, ideal for milks, serums, and sprayable formulations. I have had dry skin since being little and have to moisturise twice a day, could always have done with more but thats a pain! And because it’s loaded with some tried-and-true moisturizers — shea butter, glycerin — it’s also effective enough that it got rid of a stubborn dry flaky patch on my hand (the result of my engagement ring rubbing against my pinky 24/7).

Their product's tolerance is verified on the most sensitive skin: reactive, allergic, acne-prone, atopic, damaged or weakened by cancer treatments. I also tried the brand’s cleansing oil for body and face wash and it is such a relief not to itch and scratch all day long. Application to my face was easy and it was an excellent moisturizer to use under my make-up foundation.I am now using it on my face instead if the expensive stuff I usually use and it felt and looks better. Es una crema recomendaba sí padeces algún tipo de resequedad grave o con alguna condición dermatológica que no te permite utilizar cremas con fragancias o ingredientes irritantes.

INCI is a list of the standardized and internationally accepted names used in the declaration of ingredients on cosmetic and personal care products. If you are into chemistry (if not, we understand, just skip this paragraph), the reason is that electrolytes (you know, the Na+ and Cl- ions) screen the electrostatic repulsion between the head groups of ionic surfactants and thus support the formation of long shaped micelles (instead of spherical ones) that entangle like spaghetti, and viola, a gel is formed. Super common little helper ingredient that helps products to remain nice and stable for a longer time. Depending on your hair type, it can be a bit difficult to wash out and might cause some build-up (btw, this is not true to all silicones, only the non-volatile types).Combined with La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet AP(+) Shower Gel (which can also be used on the face) there is lot less dryness throughout the medication period, you can feel the moisturizing effect already in the shower. Btw, Xanthan gum is all natural, a chain of sugar molecules (polysaccharide) produced from individual sugar molecules ( glucose and sucrose) via fermentation. It is just incredible I am obsessed I’m on my second tub already after using it everyday through lockdown! This body cream is formulated with a high concentration of La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water, lipid-replenishing Shea Butter and moisturizing Glycerin and Niacinamide.
