The original UK release is great but the added singles on the second disc to make it a double album (US release I think) make it a real classic. Most audiophiles would understand that the list of critical components in UHQR includes recording, mastering, plating, pressing and quality control. Winner of the 2018 Blues Music Awards Acoustic Album of the Year Nominated for the 2018 Blues Blast Music Awards Acoustic Blues Album of the Year Hi-Fi News Top Audiophile Vinyl Album of 2019! Thanks to the quality of sixties vinyl pressings from this period, the mono playback does not stray. And working together with Quality Record Pressings, this reissue is a true collector's gem — an Ultra High Quality Record (UHQR) release!

To make the ultimate record, we decided to enhance sound quality by removing anything we believed could detract from it. The spelling "Foxey Lady" appears in some of these issues, and has been adopted for the Music On Vinyl mono reissue. This is a Sony Music/Legacy audiophile copy, all analog remaster from the original 2-track master tapes by Jimi's original engineer. Both photos look more appropriate for a high school yearbook than for sharing space with a guy playing a Stratocaster with his teeth!

K. original and to keep the stylus from jumping from the grooves produced a flat but loud perspective. When it was first released in 1967, Are You Experienced turned the music world upside down, as Hendrix showed everyone exactly what it meant to be "experienced.

i believe Analogue Productions prepared for the response by pressing 20,000 copies before announcing the release. Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. Track 612 001) was a tepid looking and sounding monophonic affair and despite the label’s name, the jacket didn’t list the tracks, nor did the front offer the band’s name.Irrespective of the source, all of our collectables meet our strict grading and are 100% guaranteed. The editing of the Hendrix Family's MCA 1997 vinyl is more faithful to the original than its CD counterpart.

Siddle: Manic Depression, Can You See Me, I Don't Live Today, Remember, Hey Joe, 51st Anniversary, The Wind Cries Mary, Fire, Love Or Confusion, Purple Haze. This album showcases Cooper’s theatricality, storytelling prowess, and ability to create an immersive world of horror and fantasy. This 1997 pressing is damn near perfect, the best I've ever heard this album sound, with more depth, detail and low end than previous issues. The first three singles, Hey Joe, Purple Haze and Wind Cries Mary, I still have but let's be honest they have seen better days, and they are on a second LP in this set as well.

Since these were 4 track recordings the results were not really “stereo” but the panned presentation was perfect for the material and compared to the staid original the music jumped from the grooves, flashing like a neon sign across the soundstage, though the extreme compression applied to both make it "pop" more than the staid U.

Although the Mono master tapes were not left in a Taxi like the first mix of 'Axis', the original banded masters for the Mono mix have long since disappeared, with some tracks being cut for compilation releases, leaving only incomplete fragments of this mix still around today. The album features Jimi Hendrix's innovative approach to songwriting and electric guitar playing which soon established a new direction in psychedelic and hard rock music. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. are you experienced' is probably the most rock-oriented of hendrix's official studio releases, but its influences are incredibly diverse. Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding blast away with a barely controlled fury, and there's a distorted metallic edge to Hendrix's guitar timbre that has made Are You Experienced?

The 200-gram records feature the same flat profile that helped to make the original UHQR so desirable. With demand ever increasing on the market, these are getting increasingly difficult to find in any condition! UHQR pressing is inspired from JVC Japan, which 30 years ago was the pinnacle of high-quality vinyl.
