The used of the curved slopes for the ship’s hull even allows it to rock back and forth, which is a nice touch. As they’re both twins, they have identical faces – a slightly different facial expression would’ve been a nice way to distinguish them from one another. And at the same time, it is not a piece I would have thought of if I was in charge of designing the calendar. The number, with two mini-dolls and two micro-dolls finally provides enough characters to facilitate proper play and story-telling.

If you look at it side by side with set 75251, it’s a spot-on match and a nice wave to Ralph McQuarrie’s original concept.The completely non-LEGO art style feels jarring and I think I would've preferred LEGO-style images here.

All in all, I’m still pretty delighted with the 2020 Harry Potter Advent Calendar, and it’s great to see LEGO take on feedback from last year’s weakspots, and I really hope we get another one next year – hopefully based on a different movie! Fortunately, however the non-unique figures only come in another expensive set so this is a good way to get some rarer figures more affordably.
