The sexual behaviour between MCs was intiated from both Hero and sometimes heroine. So no "rape-like situations" initiated by Hero I loved how this book gave me all the feelings. It feels far more realistic than other books that deal with similar matters, mostly because of the way that Hamilton is portrayed. He’s an awful person, and the authors aren’t making up excuses for him. Handsome, smart, and ridiculously privileged. He’s the lead devil, and my hatred for him is all in the details. It should be easy for these two to avoid one another. They have nothing in common, other than a single tragic night. But sometimes, the person you know the best is the one who’s hurt you most. When an opportunity arises at Preston to revive the Devils, Vandy and Reyn make a deal that will seal their fate once and for all. vandy was a great heroine. her struggles with her addiction and also being confined by other people's expectations of her felt so real. her journey to coming out of her shell and forming a found family was great to read about.

Also, I didn't understand why the brother Em wasn't made accountable for his involvement in the accident. Sure, he was full of remorse. Without Ems involvement, it also wouldn't have happened! In comparison, people acted like Reyn had hurt her on purpose. Like his a well-known predator. The whole incident was an ACCIDENT. Ryen was driving at 14 without a license, but it wasn't (fully) his fault what happened. He shouldn't have driven in the first place, but the accident could have happened to any driver when a deer suddenly appears on a dark road. Her works are known for their sexy, angsty situations and heroes who make for some very intriguing series. I didn’t come here to have sex, Vandy.” His voice is low, and despite his words, he barely has to reach forward to brush his fingertips over my legs. “Just what kind of guy do you take me for?” I give a nervous smile. “The kind of guy who has a lot more experience than me?” His hand drops, fingertips dragging away. “Not with this,” he says, eyes boring into mine. “It’s not like I’ve exactly had an active dating life. I was trapped in a school with three hundred other guys.” She has a reputation for jumping across genres but is best known for her extensive collection of reverse harem novels.I believed in Hamilton’s redemption, 100%. The dude changes before our eyes. But the Reagan situation annoyed me. Good news ? Hamilton never sleeps with her. In fact, he’s so caught up in Gwen he’s not even INTERESTED in sleeping with her. But she is his “gf” or whatever and in the beginning, he uses her to keep Gwen thinking that what they have isn’t special. She believes he is here to be her friend, to take care of her, and this is why nobody else is able to hear or see him. That ends when a new boy turns up at the school after he allegedly did time in Juvie. Connor is able to see Evan and he is not convinced the ghost is being totally honest. There some things I didn't like to give it full points. He let's her belive he didn't have action during his three years stay at the military school, but brags about it to his pals. However, I have to stress, that he never took advantage of her and always had let her set the pace! Samantha Rue is an international and USA Today bestselling romance fiction author of young adult and adult fiction novels. Tristian is a charming and fair-haired man who seeks to control her with his possessiveness and cold eyes.

Their story is also very slow burn, so if that's not your style, I would cautiously start it (because I still recommend it lol and I'm also not a fan of slow-burn).I really really enjoyed this book. The story was cohesive, engaging, and I absolutely fell in love with Reyn and Vandy. I found this book to be even better than the first one, and I’m so glad I read it. The good thing is that she has always been a rabid consumer of fanfiction, TV, movie, books, and games and has millions of characters living inside her head. He blinks at me, and if I didn’t know better, I’d say he looks almost bashful. “I haven’t been around girls for a long time.”’

the pacing of their relationship, the darker tones of the book, the chemistry between the characters, and the vulnerability they both shared with each other? perfection. After hiding their relationship for the whole book, I wanted to see him proud having Gwen on his side and I was disappointed that it was glossed over in the epilogue. But that's not exactly true, is it? I still get punished, each and every day that I walk down the halls. No one speaks to me. No one looks at me. No one even admits I exist. Let me ask you something, if you spent a weekend with a guy, had slow nice sex, wouldn’t it bother you not knowing if he’s doing that with his gf at the time?Even though WE KNEW that Hamilton wasn’t having sex with Reagan, why didn’t Gwen question is he wasn’t sleeping with them both? It pissed me OFF SO MUCH!!!! Did she just assume he wasn’t having sex with his gf ? (If she said something like “it’s a small high school I know he hasn’t been with her), I’d be like OK. Or is it that she sleeps with him anyways not caring if he’s also sleeping with Reagan?
