The problem is that there is a constant trikle of water into the bowl which causes the cistern to re-fill every 30 minutes. Can I buy just replacement washers for piston 43544 000. PROBLEM: continuously flowing water from a Grohe Adagio cistern in place for many years. I had already descaled the flush valve assembly and tried a replacement; water was still flowing. getting frustrated I took photographs inside the cistern I could see a signficant limescale build up at the top of the down pipe, thus preventing the drop valve from dropping fully. Hence the flowing water, which over time made the problem worse. I was very reluctant to go for the nuclear option and replace the cistern. I have a Grohe 37 762 SH cistern, installed in 2000.
