It's funny, with no other fragrance have I read so often that Kiton Men was the first (Maybe I'm out with the wrong fragrances?). Definitely a fragrance for year round and easily signature-worthy, the same way Chanel’s Pour Monsieur could be a man’s one and only bottle. I wear this more in the spring/summer and fall. Thinking about the top fragrances in the market nowadays, they are designed to make you NOTICED - As they arrive before you, they envelope people and things around you and they leave a dusty trail of strong sweetness when you leave, (most likely the ubiquitous vanilla). Excellent scent that the longer it stays on your skin the more beautiful this scent gets (Much like Burberry Touch) I had as a teenager once a small fragrance sample and whenever I sniffed it I thought: this is pure elegance, I'll buy me when I'm grown up and stand in the job.the pineapple last though out most of the life span of this fragrance and slowly fades away at the end. Kiton has been created to reflect a man’s individual style. This extraordinary fragrance is fresh and current with hints of bergamot, lemon, red berries, cedarwood and cardamom – perfectly combined to create a refined and masculine scent.

Funny because I can still remember the marketing lecture in which the Kiton brand was on the side of the conservative brands (the lecturer commented the section with "rather uncool") in a diagram. So I sat there in the lecture with my perfume on it, a "rather uncool" brand. Update: Kiton needed to sit in my collection a while before I could truly appreciate the majesty of the scent. First, I've never been a big fan of that lavender amberishy type vibe in a scent. Fahrenheit has it and I love Fahrenheit, but I don't reach for it much. So, that's kind of how Kiton ended up because it share that note a bit. Honestly, when I was smelling Kiton for the first many times I wore it, this is what I thought. 1st 15-20 minutes - Ok, I get the Green GIT vibe. Is that some Pineapple I smell? 30 min - 4 hr - Now this kind of went to something lavender-ambery. What happened to my GIT vibe? KITON MEN (RED) was NOT made with this public in mind (it was 1996 then), and rather than noticed, the gentlemen wearing Kiton Men (Red) wanted to be DISTINGUISHED.Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. We will It’s pretty clear that Kiton are one of the best and most recognised brands when it comes to buying products in the Aftershave category, but are they the best? Whether you choose to buy Kiton Kiton Eau de Toilette Spray or not will depend largely on how good the brand is, so it’s important to understand and be confident that you’re happy with a brand before you get into the detail of one of their products.

This is one of the most refined, luxurious smelling fresh scents I’ve ever put my nose on and I find it equally as satisfying as Green Irish Tweed for instance. If you value refinement, class and in this case uniqueness in your fragrances, Kiton Men is a must try. Definitely under most people’s radar, but why is a mystery to me. Highly recommended. it just exudes sophistication and makes me think of it as a scent to wear during those times of need. Now, that's a pretty damning verdict from the only critic that actually matters, but to be fair, she brought some friends in who also agreed with her. They said I didn't smell "manly" and that they got the dead old woman reference. One or two others enthusiastically told me that I smelled amazing, so it seems to be a love/hate thing It brings interest on you, people talk and stare in your eyes, it even makes people feel weakness on their knees.Here we have a very interesting fragrance journey. Sage right away gives a sharp and grounded opening, very different from most with citrus top notes. This morphs into a bed of oakmoss that gives way to a rise to a very natural and real tonka note - and it radiates just as if you had rubbed freshly ground tonka bean powder on your skin - this is the primary note thru the dry down, grounded lightly by oakmoss. heard alot about this, was told it had a kind of aventusy green irish tweed type of vibe... i finally bought a bottle and let me tell u, this stuff smells 1000% nothing like either aventus or GIT its not even remotely similar... not even .0001% close to either of them... in fact to my nose it almost a mont blanc individuel type of smell... just another overhyped soapy/floraly smelling fragrance. As far as usage, I think it would be best used in temperate climates; spring is the best but can be used in summer and fall depending on the temperatures. I would definitely use this on a summer night, which would help with the slightly above-average projection (don't be trigger-happy with this one, the musk is pretty potent). If you live in a region that doesn't have a snowy winter this could be pulled off year-round. This scent is pretty versatile occasion-wise, but I will use this the most in a casual setting and for the sporadic night out (in spring or summer); for a work setting I'll go with something less animalic, while for formal events something like Egoiste Platinum will be a similar but better option. So I figured out where the GIT/Cool Water affiliation comes from. After the tropical fruits fade 30 min in you basically get 4-5 hours beast mode violet flowers (Which for the record smells NOTHING like the GIT/Cool Water DNA. THEN that fades and turns into that beautiful herbal mossy musky base for the rest of its life which basically resembles GIT but more fuzzy - the base lasts another 5 hours ish.

kinda like that first sip of a fizzy fanta drink. just not as sweet as a soda. a very mild sweetness. Burst of tropical pineapple lemon mingled with violets and musk. How unique!!! Has a purple lilac vibe to it- i've never smelled that in a mans scent. The Kiton Men (Red), itself is hypnotizing, the opening has a fresh burst of fruit, like freshly cut pineapple and lemons, it's sweet but really fresh and airy, then come the mighty flowers: The violets and lilies are of the vivid greenish type, they feel just harvested. The musk and tonka bean gifts with a delicate sweetness, which is kind of inebriating, even dreamy.after a 30-45 minute mark the top note drys down to a light musky and clean cedar smell. to my nose cedar is a soft and sweet smell already so they go together very well. it does have a kinda scratchy effect through out it's life and i think that is the oakmoss or could still be the sage holding on. Overall rating -8.5 out of 10 ! Very classy,masculine floral that’s very mass pleasing and good for both casual and formal use Performance on this is solid as it lasts 5-8 hours and projects well for 2 hours while being a nice scent bubble for the duration and always leaving a nice scent trail. it is not a bad fragrance, its actually kind of pleasing. very soapy... however, i do feel that this fragrance has been 100% misrepresented by majority of the ppl who have talked about it... if u want a cheap alternative to GIT go buy a bottle of cool water, or aspen. if u want a cheap alternative to aventus go get a bottle of al haramiain, or insurrection.. Edit: after freshening up in the morning and repplying, the leather stealthily emerges during the drydown, which surprised me as it resembled PHI. Leathery drydown on Kiton felt clean, smart like the PHI, but without the powdery iris and projection.
