About this deal

Get ready to bask in the glow of better lighting and create the perfect atmosphere for your Sim’s adventures! Let’s shed some light on the best Sims 4 lighting mods out there. The PLHv2 and OKW light heads use the same batteries with an average run time of around 75 minutes for the 18650 and around 35 minutes for the 18350 batteries. The 18650, top, and the 18350, bottom. Pushing 1,350 lumens is no small feat, but it performs this on top of a solid amount of throw, putting out around 54,000 candelas. PLHv2 beam against a white wall at 10-yards.

One problem that exists today is older legacy switches are not able to pass the current needed to run current and future generation lights. These older switch designs do not allow Modlite light heads to run at full power. Typically these switches reduce output by 15-20%. ModButton Lite utilizes an updated plug design as well as improved electronics that allow the ModButton Lite to output at full power so all the lumens and candela can be put to good use. The beam pattern of the X300U starts to falls off, but even with that being the case, we still have a somewhat usable amount of light. Surprisingly, the X300U was able to push out to 100-yards with unexpected levels of light. SureFire X300U at 100-yards Modlite bodies match the same Scout series tail cap thread pattern, so anyone already invested in SureFire systems will save some serious cash, but before you get excited, there is one thing to keep in mind. Modlite SureFire Tailcap Switches.jpgReady to light up your virtual world with some game-changing mods? We’re diving into the vibrant universe of Sims 4 lighting mods that will take your gameplay to a whole new level. Modlite oozes high-end flair. Taking a look at the pieces individually, it becomes clear quality was the goal from the start. If you want to impress, these won’t disappoint. When standing next to any node, like with my side up against a cave wall, even when pointing into completely open space, the light beam goes dark. Another feature, within the state based tool concept, is to use a state as config, and allowing players to alter the strength of the light-source and length of light beam. It would be nice to switch to a higher powered light beam to shine further on in larger caves and dungeons, while enabling shorter beams for smaller spaces. All this allows some control over lag, while empowering this tool much further.

I absolutely love using this mod in my game. It’s a subtle effect, but it makes screenshots feel so much more alive. 🙌 Given that end-users have a plethora of options for mounts, bodies, tail caps, switches, and heads to configure the weapon light to their needs, it’s clear to see Modlite has achieved its goal of being as modular as possible. Since flashlights are useless in broad daylight, and the corresponding processing to make this effect possible in game, would it at all be possible to disable the flashlight beam, ie turn off the flashlight, when the light levels around the player are at a higher level than the flashlight emits. I notice lag when I have the flashlight active in my hand, while walking on the surface during the day. It would seem that the flashlight continues to emit it's light beam, when maybe it shouldn't.

Combine it with the “Out Of The Dark” mod for the ultimate lighting transformation. Trust me, your game will never be the same again! Time to step into the light and give your Sims the glow-up they deserve!
