A truly entertaining performance. A mix of songs, chatting and jokes. Some people were disappointed Rob didn't do more of his big hits and did some covers, but he is a showman and this was HIS show.

Good news: ROBBIE WILLIAMS will return to Australia in November 2023. That’s right folks, one our all time fave headline acts will take the stage across the country in a series of special event dates which have been announced by Roundhouse Entertainment, Mellen Events, Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring. It is New Zealand’s oldest producer of wines still under the same management and its sizeable winery and vineyards, under the control of The Greenmeadows Mission Trust Board, help fund the work of The Society of Mary throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. Robbie Williams is without a doubt one of the finest male pop stars of his generation, having sold more than 85 million albums, with 13 UK number one albums (the most for any solo artist, equalled only by Elvis Presley) and 14 number one singles as a solo artist.

After leaving the band, Williams befriended Oasis, joining in with the drug-fueled parties that came along with their success, This lifestyle took its toll, with Williams becoming increasingly overweight and the subject of much discussion in tabloid gossip columns, distracting Williams from focusing on his own music. In 1996, he released his first single, a cover of George Michael's "Freedom '90," which was largely a disaster. However, his second single, "Old Before I Die" in 1997 showed more promise, displaying a prominent Oasis influence. His debut album arrived the same year, "Life Thru a Lens," finding huge success in the UK. This was followed by the multi-Platinum release, "I've Been Expecting You," in 1998, establishing Williams' solo career.

So rarely, these days, do you see someone Smash It to such a high and palpable degree. So rarely does it feel as though the stars – man, mood and moment – align to create such pure, concentrated entertainment.”– VICE He did himself proud. If you're a Robbie fan and can afford to, treat yourself to a slice of Robbie and a slice of Vegas. Australasia is one of my favourite places in the world to tour; I feel so at home there and hugely appreciate the warm, loving welcome I always receive. I can't wait to do these shows in 2023 and spend some time with my fans", says Robbie. The concert is a reminder that America’s insulation from the European musical mainstream since the mid-90s is America’s loss. It is also a reminder that pop music can be fun, classy, and entertaining without being sonically hollow. It is my sincere hope that Robbie Williams’ return to the American stage forces a re-evaluation of gatekeepers in the American musical mainstream that have largely failed in their endeavor to uphold one of the fundamental tenets of responsible media – diversity. I think you will enjoy the show, regardless of the seats you manage to get. The venue is so intimate it really doesn't matter where you are you will be close up and personal.

A showman to the very end, Take That favourite turned solo artist Robbie Williams really knows how to put on a show. An artist with an impossible amount of hits, the real genius is moulding a live show that both satisfies his artistry as well as his loyal fan base. Opening with two nights at London’s The O2, the autumn arena tour will be a joyous celebration of Robbie’s 25 years as a solo artist. The tour will then take in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. We were so excited to be able to see Robbie in the US and he did not disappoint. The Vegas show had a Vegas type feel with dancers and old standards includes along with his great hits. We would definitely see him again. Imbalance of songs a little disappointing ..... more of the hits and less of the swing would have been better regardless of this being Vegas.

Nestled against the quiet and picturesque foothills of Greenmeadows on the outskirts of Napier is New Zealand’s only nineteenth century winery – The Mission Vineyards.Established in 1851 by French missionaries Father Lampila and two lay brothers Florentin and Basil on seven acres given to them by a friendly Maori chief, Puhara, they planted crops and wines. This was the beginning of Mission Vineyards. Started late and lasted less than two hours so a little on the stingy side for those who had travelled thousands of miles to see him. My expectations of the concert were moderate – not because I expected to be underwhelmed but because I assumed (incorrectly of course!) that the intimacy of the Encore Theatre automatically meant that the show would be a mellow affair with Robbie Williams sitting on a stool performing mostly swing covers. While covers comprised a significant portion of the setlist, the concert was as far from a mellow affair as it could be. The concert opened with a call to the audience to sing the cheeky and irreverent “National Anthem of Robbie” with the lyrics being projected on to the curtains. The audience obliged with an overabundance of enthusiasm as they sang along hilarious lyrics such as

Whether it be by car, public transport, taxi or rideshare, there are several options for your journey to the venue. Rating: 4 out of 5 Fantastic evening with a minus! by Edit on 8/31/19 Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Set Times

It’s a reflection of the calibre of this artist and a reflection of how much people love this event. We are delighted that Robbie has agreed to a second.” Confidently striding onto stage, Robbie does a whole circuit of his runway and stage to really lap up the excited cheers before launching into a swing inspired set. Covers by the likes of Harry Richman and Dean Martin allow him to indulge in his favourite genre whilst still showcasing his abilities as a frontman. A brilliant live band supports the singer throughout and a selection of video interludes splits the show. The hit single 'Swing Supreme' divides a jazz heavy first half. Robbie will go on tour later this year bringing his high-octane shows to cities across the UK and Ireland. Wynn is the poshest casino in Vegas. The Shops are insane, including a McQueen and a Dior store, so definitely explore the property while you're there for the show. Encore is an intimate theater of 1,500 seats with great sound and the production is excellent. You won't see Robbie Williams perform in such a small venue anywhere else in the world. His voice is much improved since he quit smoking and he seems to focus on hitting the notes in this setting. The set list on his Take the Crown tour was more satisfying for a fan but an uninitiated listener will appreciate the familiarity of the songs in the Vegas set and the humor. It is quintessentially a Vegas show in the tradition of Wayne Newton, Elvis and Dean Martin. Would love to see more strings incorporated into the song arrangements ala Live at Royal Albert Hall.
