About this deal

The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user I know that Final Audio is capable of providing a great soundstage, and with the A5000 they deliver one of the best they’ve included on an IEM yet. The way the A5000 communicates its spaciousness comes off as effortless. From left to right, you feel the movement of instruments and effects, making excellent use out of the stereo field. Its width feels long without appearing stretched out in the middle, accurately conveying scale to each section of the mix. Extra height is provided here, but I thought it could even go a little taller. However, what height is given is just as exciting to listen to, expressing airy textures around your forehead. How the A5000 displays each individual performance is truly elegant, as it showcases depth by giving more holographic dimension to the imaging. With its enhanced separation, the A5000 is able to show you greater depth inward and outward. Its headspace provides so much room, you can hear how all the sounds propagate to their fullest extent. Low End I thank @Audio46 for the tour, and it is because of vendors such as this (and others in which I have participated) that we can get the voices out regarding products. Call it what you will, but I do feel this is a valuable and needed experience for the hobby. Detail retrieval was impressive at first with the A4k, and it sure is very capable in this domain, just not to the very-top level anymore. Things like the S12, the Heyday and many others have joined the fray and are giving the A4k a tough battle to fight. In my opinion the A4000 still manages to win out the others because it has many pros and almost no cons where the chinese planars always represent some compromise in their replay, be it closed stage like the Tangzu or the off timbre on the S12.

Starting off with the Mid-bass/Sub-bass test I’m using David Guetta’s “I’m Good (Blue).” The intro bass drums have good impact, but nothing too crazy/overwhelming. The sub-bass at 0:38 is surprisingly strong, uncommon for Eastern IEMs – Final has definitely learned what the Western market likes. I’d guess close to 68-70 dB on the sub-bass. IE600 – Even more bass versus the Final Audio. Very good. More elliptical sound stage but not radically different. A bit less treble energy but still a good sense of clarity and detail A more complex design doesn’t inherently mean a better design, and as I’ll detail below, the competition is pretty stiff between these two IEMs. Spec The sound quality was designed based on Final's unique evaluation method established during the development of the flagship earphone A8000. In addition to transparent sound (when you clearly hear sounds that are localized at a distance), you can hear even finer sounds in the mid-low range giving each sound a sense of depth. In addition, a newly designed 2-pin soft silver-coated cable developed for the A5000 comes standard with its easy to handle braided cable. New Sound Quality Evaluation After getting curious about the final audio A4000 due to me reading that it had a large sound stage for an IEM, I wanted to see for my self. This being my first Final Audio IEM.The A5000 is equipped with the f-Core DU driver, which was developed and designed entirely in-house, including parts and production equipment. The sound quality was designed based on final's unique evaluation method established during the development of the flagship earphone A8000. In addition to the so-called "transparent sound" that allows you to clearly hear sounds that are localized at a distance, you can hear even the finer sounds in the mid-low range, giving each sound a sense of depth. I can. In addition, a newly designed 2-Pin soft silver-coated cable developed for the A5000 is standard equipment. The braided cable makes it easy to handle, and you can feel the A5000's sound even more clearly.

The development of the A series started with the establishment of a new evaluation method based on the analysis of the relationship between sound quality and physical characteristics, and the result was the A8000. We listen to music recorded in different qualities and at different volumes. However, in conventional evaluation methods, subjective evaluation is generally performed under fixed conditions such as the sound pressure that presents the sound, making it difficult to judge good sound based on actual product listening. The A5000 uses a new evaluation method for sound creation that matches actual music listening situations. In-house developed driver unit "f-Core DU" installed Finally, the cable, in both A4000 and A3000, although a 2-Pin connector, it is an OFC cable, of high quality and not susceptible to microphonics. BASS- A5000 is more of a quality than quantity. The texture of the bass and timbre is so awesome that i haven't heard that in any of the iem i have mentioned above. There is enough sub bass rumble but not like a basshead iem, It's there when you need it. The mid bass is where the iem shines, its beautifully done. The bass dosen't bleed into the mids or overpower any of the other frequencies. So the Bass is excellent on a5000. (5/5)To test classical mids, I’m using The Piano Guys' “Code Name Vivaldi.” Dang, once again the A5000 manages to punch far above its weight here. The strings sound phenomenal – are we sure this isn’t secretly a hybrid? The bass can overwhelm the mids a tad once more, but the overall quality is so much better than the A5000’s price indicates. I really can recommend these to almost anyone looking for an IEM in this price range – as long as you don’t want it to look fancy or colorful and you don’t hate bass. The chassis of the A5000 is in the same shape as the A4000/A3000, it's a nice angular shape that meets with your concha in a surprisingly comfortable fashion. It's comfortable for my ears but your mileage may vary.

Sound like expensive small monitor speakers. Fantastic layering and blending in of details , hear detail I don’t normally do with other iems. So, if you want, like me, your IEMs to be unforgiving, then you will choose A4000, and in that sense you will find A3000 to be a step behind A4000. If, on the other hand, you admire Final’s E3000, for its articulate yet with a touch of warmth presentation, and you want something with the same sound signature but much more transparent and open, then A3000 is what you are looking for; you will immediately find that A3000 is at a completely different level than E3000, and this combination of warm, transparent and open sound is hard to beat.

With IEMs, I always do the usual burn-in of about 50 hours; it’s not that without this the IEMs do not sound right, but rather that the burn-in helps them to reach their full potential. Now, much more important than the technical burn-in, I consider the so-called phycological burn-in, which helps the listener to get acquainted with the IEM; in that sense, the phycological burn-in does not actually have a limit, and the more you listen the better you get to know the IEM. The A5000 is a very spacious listen, giving the listener a grand sense of scale that is done quite well. EQUIPPED WITH IN-HOUSE DEVELOPED DRIVER "F-CORE DU" Achieves transparent sound with crystal clear clarity and deep sound Now that the boring stuff is out of the way we are going to get to the A5000. I did most of my listening tests price and configuration blind. I just wanted to see where it would go and how it would sound to me just out of the box.The MMCX connector was developed in-company. We've used high-purity OFC silver coated cables that provide a wide sound stage. These jointly-developed cables were originally designed by and are currently manufactured by the well-renowned Junkosha corporation for the purpose of being used with the supercomputer "Kei" due to their fast signal transmission speed. The insulator film is made from PFA which was also developed by Junkosha who used their extensive know-how through the JUNFLON® brand to create the ultimate in low-permittivity material. The outer tube is made from PVC for maximum flexibility. The user will experience surprising flexibility that both makes the cable extremely easy to use as well as reducing the likelihood of microphonics. In addition, the MMCX plug and the 3.5 mm mini-plug have a tendency to disconnect so we've far exceeded the regular QA pass criteria of a 5,000-time bend test by changing the connection design to one that can withstand more than 50,000 bends. The midrange is among the most natural you can find, and by far the best at its price point. Although relaxed, it's an incredibly rich and faithful to instruments replay. Orchestrals and chamber music are a pleasure to listen to with this set. Other things of note is that cable included with the A5000 is a vast improvement over the A4000 cable. Cable swapping looks to be an easier proposition which was my biggest complaint about the A4000. Both iem’s are inherently travel friendly due to their light weight and comfortable fit. SOUND IMAGING is great. Thanks to this transparency of timbre, we can dig and travel in the layers of sound as well as clearly discern the static location of the instruments.
