About this deal

On completion, the tower was dedicated to the volunteer firefighters who died in the city's five major fires. Inside the tower are hand-painted murals that reflect life in San Francisco in the 1920s and 1930s.

This collectible construction set features buildable models of the Tokyo Tower, Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower, Tokyo Big Sight, TOKYO SKYTREE, Chidorigafuchi Park, Shibuya Crossing and more to evoke nostalgic memories. Even new LEGO® architects can enjoy this easy-to-build architecture model kit, and it makes a cool creative Japanese gift for adults aged 16+ who have been to Tokyo, dream of visiting, or live/have lived there. The famous Tokyo landmarks model measures over 11” (28cm) high, 10” (27cm) wide and 3” (10cm) deep.Neither the trees nor the small building are interesting to assemble, but the cherry blossom trees in particular add a lovely ambience and cheerful personality to the completed model. Shibuya Crossing Statue of Liberty’s presence in this list also indicates it’s a stronger performer than 21046 Empire State Building, which may or may not have something to do with all that lovely sand green. (Or, you know, just because it’s a more iconic international landmark than a big tan skyscraper.) Dubai is home to some of the world's most incredible buildings, which you can recreate with the LEGO® Architecture Dubai Skylineset. The LEGO re-creation involves a tiny re-creation of the Moat uses two 1×2 Tiles (part 3069b) in 42 Transparent Light Blue Trans-Light Blue flanked on both sides by trees with 222 Light Purple Bright Pink flowers. The small structure behind the water is not identified in the instruction booklet, and I was unable to determine a specific building it is meant to represent when researching buildings in the area. That’s too bad, since there are a dozen interesting buildings within the palace grounds that could have been included.

Wynn Encore? Hmmm. Stratosphere Tower? Like, okay, but in a city of bonkers buildings, it's not the most interesting design. And isn’t the Freemont Street Experience really more of an indoors thing? On the positive side, I also noticed a lot of intriguing printed parts featured this set (especially for the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower), which I look forward to discovering in more detail as we get into the review. Lastly, I was pleased to see some advanced building techniques, especially for the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center. Build processScottish Highlands Postcodes (IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-n 44, PH49-50, ZE ) 48 Hour Dispatch Recreate some of Tokyo’s most famous buildings with this detailed LEGO Architecture Skyline Collection 21051 desk collectible model. It’s a great souvenir for Tokyo visitors and an ideal gift for adults in love with Japan’s capital city or who dream of visiting.

If that means building and rebuilding it 15 times before I’m satisfied with it then that’s what I do. This is the part of the build that will act as the centerpiece, and it’s where all the wow factor of the build comes from. Ideal for display, collectible LEGO® Architecture models of iconic landmarks and city skylines offer a variety of rewarding building experiences for anyone interested in architecture, travel, history and design.I generally try not to spend too long on a build but one of the heavy hitters is the Phoenix Cardinals Stadium. I didn’t personally build that one entirely by myself but in total it took around 600 hours to build. A much smaller part of the model that adds a splash of colour are the cherry blossom trees which use stem pieces and pink LEGO flowers very effectively, with the scale of the buildings giving the trees context. Next to the blossoms is a small part of Chidorigafuchi Park moat, recreated with 1×2 trans-blue tiles, which gets its name from being shaped like a plover-bird called chidori in Japanese. The most striking aspect of the part selection is the sheer number of printed parts. This includes four new printed elements, and five existing printed parts. A total of 19 printed parts would be a lot for any set, and is much more than we’ve ever seen in the LEGO Architecture series. With the LEGO® Architecture London Skyline set, you can recreate some of the capital's iconic architecture at home on a much smaller scale.
