About this deal

Their lines of flankers make sense, sort of what flankers should really be about, though I find the names confusing and wish they weren't so muddied. There's a similarity in the flankers of course - though I like them, I have a bit of difficulty separating them. But I won't complain further, as a plethora of riches shouldn't be discouraged. They both have that same dark, mysterious and warm feeling, even though they are not alike at all. Neither of them seem like a modern fragrance to me; they give me a feeling of old times. They are both sultry and sensual, without ever being offending anyone. Just as good for a date with your loved one, as for christmas celebration with your family or festivities with your friends. Or just to endulge in when you are all by yourself, watching a really good movie: preferably portraying a time period sometime around maybe 1930 - 1950, or so. I adore this! For me this is a modern take on a clean musky scent. The older Narcisos like “for her” in this line smell a little bit dated to me now and a bit too …perfumy?

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.In summary, the first half is bright and clean while the second half is creamy and sensual. I can't decide whether this is an innocent or a sophisticated scent. It has a little bit of everything. Maybe that duality is the essence of femininity that Sonia Constant wants me to experience, or, logically speaking, depends on your own chemistry. It will smell cleaner and lighter for sure if you get more floral notes on your skin, but in my case, musk is waaaaaay more prominent than anything else in most of the time. I can barely even detect any flower in the dry down. I passed over this one for a long time and I'm not sure why. It's absolutely stunning. Sensual, feminine and mysterious, all while being soft about it, not loud. The ultimate 'your skin but better' scent, without the screechy notes I've noticed in others. However, I have not really been a fan of a couple of the new Narciso cubes (esp. Ambrée) and I don't like this for a similar reason and that reason is a cheap floral note that throws the whole perfume off, a sour note that smells like cheap perfume gone stale. The rest of this is good - I like the plum, the softness, the musk, of course, but I just cannot cope with the florals in this. I don't know if it is a change in perfumer, budget or what, but this is spoiled for me... I've given it a couple of good tries but I get the same thing each time. Except I love the balance in it, like marveling at a high-wire act, which it is for me. A mis-step in a white floral/green fragrance puts me right in perfume hell. So there's a built-in tension I feel which adds to my interest.

the suede is just for the texture it seems. maybe not, i wouldn't know the difference but that suede note worried me at first. i thought i would not be able to carry this perfume well, but as it turns out, it's just the right amount of a weird type of texture in a neutral (not warm, not cold) and musky, a bit sweet, animalic and just absolute perfection to me. this is right up there with the for her edp, and i feel it's like the night-time version of it. if you're thinking you're going to get musc noir rose minus rose, not even something reminiscent of it. i think musc noir rose smells more "gothy".... it smells like how i would imagine a funeral home to smell, or a conjuring, unfortunately within the range of dark, rose perfumes.... i wouldn't consider it unique or transcending all expectations of what a deep rose perfume would be (also i just don't feel it's the best 'dark' perfume for me which will massively affect my take on it) . it's awesome, but musc noir to me is perfect. not everyone's cup of tea, but perfect for my personal preference. 🖤🧸🎀 Disclaimer: I have a like/hate relationship with musk-dominant fragrances. More often than not, I find them too cloying. I understand that musks add lift to a fragrance, and that helps it to radiate off of the skin, but sometimes I think it's dosed so heavily in a blend that it suffocates rather than enhances. Many otherwise pleasant fragrances have been shi*t-canned from my collection for this offense.the musk is very sweet & light........the suede gives it a creamy essence.........and the plum is not strong at all - in fact its blended beautifully with heliotrope (a fav flower) To work with musc is a perfumer’s dream,” says MUSC NOIR perfumer, Sonia Constant. The composition of for her MUSC NOIR includes a darker musc with a rich olfactory depth, both mysterious and extremely sensual. Leathery suede accords transform the heart of musc and intensify the sinuous skin-on-skin sensuality of the fragrance. Along with the rich leather suede accords, the heart of musc is further emboldened with heliotrope and enhanced by white cedar and rose—a hint of lucious plum adds light and harmony. When for her MUSC NOIR is layered with for her PURE MUSC, it becomes an even more memorable statement, an experience of pure luxury—your personal signature scent. My only critique is that despite good longevity it turns into a skin scent within a couple of hours and you really need to go looking for it to find it. That’s not a deal breaker for me as I just reapply.
