Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. The most unique part of Focal studio monitors, and usually the selling point, is the inverted-dome tweeter—this component offers multiple benefits. The inverted dome creates a wide listening sweet spot, unlike most other dome-based tweeters. You should be able to move around your listening position without losing much of the detail and defined stereo image that the Alpha 65s provide. The T7V features a 7” woofer that provides bass extension down to 39 Hz, while the U-ART tweeter’s diaphragm provides pristine and extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz – virtually unheard of in monitors in this price range. The U-ART tweeter is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working. ADAM Audio was founded in Berlin in 1999 with a mission to redefine audio reproduction standards. The company’s innovative X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeter, based on the 1960’s Air Motion Transformer invention by Oskar Heil, laid the foundation for their success. ADAM Audio has since become a global leader in professional audio equipment, known for their precision German engineering and commitment to excellence.

The T7V Studio Monitor features two 3-way fine-tune switches that allow you to boost or cut high/low frequencies, enabling you to tailor the monitor to the room and position it's in. The fine tune controls, combined with high performance, wide frequency response, and a wide sweet spot ensure accurate sound, allowing you to produce professional results. Did a lot of comparison e.g., RoKu 7 KRK all including subwoofer. The difference is without a doubt much better with the Adam T7V's. The Adam T7V is an affordable two-way studio monitor designed for vertical use in a nearfield application. The wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint makes the T7V perfectly suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast production. The LP-8 V2 are arguably a bit flatter than the T7V out of the box, but not by much. For my taste, the T7V are objectively better speakers, but you can’t go wrong with either. As aforementioned, the Adam T8V offers the broadest bass response. That doesn't necessarily mean that the Adam T5V does not deliver here. If anything, the compact delivery of the same is quite remarkable. The only logistical issue worth mentioning, particularly if you’re considering the T5V for home use, is one that applies to the vast majority of studio monitors: the separate gain controls on the rear of each speaker aren’t intended for use like a volume control on a hi-fi amplifier. Instead, you set the T5V’s gain controls to a level that produces an acceptable maximum volume when your laptop, PC or whichever device is connected has its volume set to 100%, then control the volume solely via the connected device. I think the KRKs are so overhyped at this point, and fair enough, they’ve certainly earned their place. At a certain point though, when will we stop buying things just because they’re the popular choice? Save yourself the headache and get the T7V. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working. This is a problem because it means that Spinorama alone, unfortunately, won't give us all we need. Placement and reflections play an equally important role there too. The Adam Audio T7V is a mid-range studio monitor designed to meet the demands of producers and engineers withsmall-to-mid room spaces, kitted out with some of Adam's most forward-thinking technology and features. Award-Winning Nearfield Monitor with state-of-the-art technology

Fortunately, now we have the Spinorama data for a bunch of quite popular speakers. Pierre Aubert put all this untidy data together and put it into https://www.spinorama.org/. This is a stunning source. Pretty valuable stuff from him right there. This is why most A-class brands (like SVS, Bang & Olufsen, etc) often come up with room correction features, adjusted either manually or automatically. The EQ adapts itself to the placement (room, corner, center, etc) for a better (deeper and more accurate) sound. Which is great. When I first got these monitors I felt quite bad because I literally couldn't hear the C3 frequency. This was because the sound bouncing on the wall canceled out the sound coming directly from the monitors. I had 4 mattresses lying around so I built a little half cubical around my desk and this made the sound not drop out at important frequencies. Of course the frequency dips in some places but nothing drops out completely. The T7V features a 7-inch woofer which adds to the high-resolution of the stereo image and produces a deep and punchy low end, attributed to the rear-firing bass reflex port. Furthermore, Adam Audio are offering a 100-day Free Trial Account of the TIDAL Streaming Platform if you register your Adam Audio product between the 16th of September 2019 until the 31st of December 2019 via MYADAM!The source code under Pierre Aubert's work is licensed under GPL (General public license). He didn't perform any of the measurements himself, and instead he compiled all of them into one place, so that makes sense. The T7V offers connections for XLR and RCA accepting balanced and unbalanced -10dBV inputs. This allows for 3.5mm and 1/4-inch connections, enabling you to connect the monitor up to a mixer, interface, and more. Cutting-edge design
