About this deal

The shelf divider is by far the most flexible of the protective flex-fold dividers as it not only can be used to customize the internal space of the camera cube, but includes a fold down shelf allowing for example a small prime lens to be stored on top of another small prime lens without them actually touching each other. The XSmall and Small sizes are ideal for mirrorless cameras, drones and light camera carry you can use on their own. Simply attach a Peak Design Slide Strap to the external carry attachment points and you’re good to go. To gain a better perspective on ‘Looks’, (as well as ‘Fit’, and ‘X-Factor’), I asked my wife (5ft 7” / 175cm) to weigh in with her opinion too. And lastly, there are small little loops on each corner of the bag that are pretty incognito. They sit right up against the bag, so they’re not going to snag anything accidentally but you can still get some good functionality out of them. Peak Design Camera Cube Interior The Anvil 27 has room for everything you need on a wilderness trek, at least as far as photography is concerned. The camera compartment has space for larger DSLRs with battery grips and/or with zoom lenses up to 18″ (35.56 cm) long attached to them. There’s plenty of space for extra lenses, flashes, chargers, etc. as well.

Basic shoulder bag styles provide convenient access to frequently-used accessories, or you can opt for more robust DSLR and mirrorless fitted casesthat protect cameras and lens attachments against everyday wear and tear and weather-related exposure. With the 20L version, I managed to fit a Fujifilm X-Pro3 and a handful of the best Fuji X lenses to go with it (all primes), and still had room for plenty of small accessories and my sandwiches. Instead of the previous YYK zippers which were very nice but not weatherproof, the new cubes have very nice weatherproof zippers. I think the new zippers are Peak Design’s own UltraZips, and as expected, they are buttery smooth. I can see nothing wrong with that. In addition, these improved zippers will clearly increase the protection of the cube when used outside of one of the larger, more protective, Peak Design Travel Line bags. Capacity: 20L (+3) | Dimensions: 13.70 x 10.63 x 19.21 in (34.8 x 27 x 48.79 cm) | Weight: 5.72 lbs (2.59 kg) | LowePro ProTactic 450 AW II ReviewThe Flipside has a bit of an understated look to it, which is helpful if you’re not wanting it to be unduly noticed. No real x-factor though. Following their success with the original PRVKE, WANDRD has created a larger product lineup under the same name. They’ve even created accompanying camera cubes, which we’ll be looking at in this review—mainly the Essential Deep Camera Cube. WANDRD Essential Deep Camera Cube | It’s an accessory, but how does it fare on its own?

Camera inserts are complemented with a zipper closure, such as YKK zippers, for additional protection, with weatherproofed outer shells. The retracting tripod cup is a bit weird, but so far seems to work (at least for a smaller tripod). C-clip mounting system keeps cube rigidly in place. Fits in all Travel Bags. External loops are compatible with any Peak Design strap, sold separately. While it’s possible to get away without using a camera insert, if you have a reasonable collection of equipment, you’ll want peace of mind and the proper protection. Feels like it’d last a good 10+ years of abuse on the outside, and the inside is equally well-constructed. I particularly like the hook-and-loop attachments for the dividers, which are designed not to rip at the fabric.Capacity: 16L | Dimensions: 10.83 x 7.28 x 18.50 in (27.5 x 18.5 x 47 cm) | Weight: 1.78 lbs (0.8 kg) Both the ‘Blue Nights’ and the ‘Sea Pine’ look like no other bag I’ve seen – really unique tones, tastefully complimented with brown accents on the zipper pulls. The only small niggle is that with the bag fully loaded, it’s a little hard to pull out the laptop.

Style-wise, this bag definitely won’t turn any heads, but perhaps that’s a good thing if you want to remain unseen! Safely carry all your photography essentials with case inserts and compartments. If you do a lot of traveling and field work, consider investing in durable carrying cases and dividers to ensure your equipment stays in optimal working condition. No matter how you prefer to transport your gear, protective camera bag inserts provide safe and reliable storage for camera bodies, lenses, memory cards, and other accessories. Next, attach velcro to the sides of the camera bag inserts so that when they lift up, they correctly attach to the main supports surrounding the camera and lenses. With enough room to fit a 150-600mm super-telephoto zoom lens, it’s ideal for pros who shoot for long periods of time at sporting events or birds and animals out in the wilderness.

Materials & Aesthetic

The other new size, “smedium,” has a 10-liter volume and includes many customizable dividers. It has enough space for an interchangeable lens camera with an attached lens, a couple of extra lenses, and some small accessories. Depending on the size of each lens, of course. The Peak Design Camera V2 (large) holds a lot of camera gear. V2 adds two new sizes you can find the Camera Cubes, making a total of five different loadout setups to choose from: XSmall, Small, SMedium, Medium, and Large. Like the V1, it’s made of weatherproof 100% recycled 400D nylon canvas shell and burly #8 coated ultra zippers. If you like attaching things onto the outside of your bag, the Anvil 27 s arc attachment points hold MAS and SAS components and a variety of other accessories including MOLLE.
