Where contamination/soiling is acid soluble, a preliminary wash with decon acid rinse, using the pre-wash facility of the automatic washing machine, prior to the main alkali wash, is beneficial. Pre-wash is especially useful when cleaning apparatus contaminated with superficial greases, dried protein, iron hydroxide deposits etc.

It is also important to note that prior to the 1 st scan of the sequence, the DSC cells are emptied, and then immediately filled with material stored in the 96-well plate. The autosampler injection syringe and the DSC cells are not rinsed or cleaned. If you are not sure if the DSC cells are clean, or there is an alert that the DSC cells have not been recently cleaned, use one of the cell cleaning methods found under the “Maintenance” tab” prior to starting the sequence. Any additional or special terms included by VWR in its written acceptance shall form part of the contract. The terms and conditions of the contract apply equally to the supply of both products and services except where application to one or the other is specified. Authorisation will be subject to the condition that the products are returned to VWR Customer Service Centre or to the manufacturer or other source notified by VWR, by registered post if permitted, (for which VWR will supply a label), for which a handling charge will be made for each line.

Customers who exceed their credit limits will be asked to pay in advance for additional products and/or services until the account is settled. Authorisation to return products damaged during delivery must be requested within 3 days of delivery. VWR has the right to repair and return damaged products.
