About this deal

The valid range is 32 – 32767. The value 0xFEEF is a special value that disables advertising altogether, rendering the device unconnectable until the battery is removed and reinstalled. It is used internally for device testing and should not be used under normal circumstances.

You're busy. You know that proper temperature and humidity are important to your health and belongings. But who has time for constant monitoring of conditions in the places they matter most, like refrigerators, guitar cases, humidors, attics, basements and crawlspaces? All network connections are encrypted and no incoming ports are required to be opened on the Gateway.

About PyPI

If you don't have a reference device, you can still calibrate your sensor. Ice water makes a great temperature reference. Just mix up a bowl of ice water, with a good even mixture of ice and water. Give it a good stir and let it sit while you seal your SensorPush in a zip-top baggie. Get as much air out of the bag as possible. Place the SensorPush (inside the baggie) into the ice water mixture. It's best to leave the zip top out of the water, just in case it doesn't seal entirely. Please note:There is currently an issue with the Nexus 6P and WiFi Direct. This issue prevents the Nexus 6P from being able to configure the G1 WiFi Gateway.

Open the SensorPush app to the main screen (the main screen says "Devices" at the top) and tap the Add button. This is the same button previously used to add sensors. Now it will present you with a choice to add a sensor or a gateway. Tap the Add Gateway option. To read data, write any 32-bit value to the characteristic (e.g. 0x01000000). This triggers a sensor read. Once the read is complete (typically less than 100ms later), the data will be available to read, in hundredths of Pascals (e.g. 97813.64Pa will read 9781364).The authorization token is used to request two additional tokens: access and refresh tokens. The access token authorizes the user to begin using the API. This token is valid for 30 minutes, at which time the client must request a new access token using the refresh token.

Request a temporary oauth access token. Use the result from the previous step for the authorization code in the body. copy to clipboard curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/oauth/accesstoken" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d @- < "} If you’re curious or interested in perfecting conditions inside your home or office, give one a try. You should now be able to monitor your sensors over the internet. You can test this by turning the Bluetooth off on your mobile device. Provided all of the sensors are in range to the Gateway, you should be able to see them update in the app roughly once per minute. A small icon shaped like the Gateway will appear to the right of the sensor's name if the sensor is communicating via the Gateway. You can also verify that the information is up to date by looking at the "Last seen" time right beneath the sensor's name on the list of devices in the main screen of the app. readings should be within the last couple of minutes of the current time if the sensor is communicating normally through the Gateway.

Make sure you have the latest version of the SensorPush app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. As proud as we are of this initial release, we have big plans for the future as well. Our roadmap for the coming year leverages our tight, efficient team to cover a lot of ground. New forms of connectivity, modes of sensing, and methods of analysis are all on the way.

In the Layers view, multiple sensors can be plotted together on the same graph. In the Streams view, sensors can be plotted alongside one another in parallel. The parallel view will be particularly important once we have sensor types other than temperature and humidity. Well, sensor push told is in a matter of minutes that our wine fridge is a liar. Not only was the dual zone more of a single zone… 55 degrees is more like 43 degrees. If you’re casual wine drinkers like us, it’s probably a good idea to verify the temperature with some kind of thermometer. But, if you have thousands of dollars stored away in a cellar… a widget like this is cheap insurance and provides piece of mind that your hundred dollar bottles are safe and comfy. Humidors are a Pain to Maintain Description: Sets the advertising interval of the device, in units of 625 microseconds. The default is 2056, which corresponds to 1285ms. Once in app settings you'll notice a section called "Configuration" with a switch for Bluetooth. Switch it ON (you can turn it off again once all new devices are paired).

Using PyPI

copy to clipboard curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/samples" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Authorization: " -d @- < curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/samples" \ One of the biggest gains in terms of range that you get from using a gateway has to do with the fact that it’s not a mobile device. A gateway doesn’t have to go where you go. The gateway stays with the sensors when you leave and it stays in a location that’s best for communicating with your sensors. In quite a few cases, the best location for a gateway to communicate with your sensors might be some place you don’t visit often even if you are frequently nearby, like in your basement, attic, barn, or storage area. You might want to experiment a bit to find a place that has the best coverage of your sensors and still maintains a stable WiFi connection. We should point out that the Sensorpush isn’t technically a Wi-Fi device. The individual sensors transmit via Bluetooth. We had no problems with data transmission while using it. But, it would be nice to have a true Wi-Fi wireless thermometer for times when we’re away from home. The sensor devices communicate via Bluetooth Low Energy, also known as BLE or Bluetooth 4.x. On iOS the system-provided SDK is CoreBluetooth, while on Android, BluetoothGatt can be used. On Linux systems, the nodejs library noble is a good option. Similar libraries are commonly available for other development environments.
