Do not take continuously for more than 7 days without medical advice. Not recommended for children under 16 years old. Contains paracetamol. Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine. Do not take with other flu, cold or decongestant products. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. If you do not get better, talk to your doctor. Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well. Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; Don't take Beechams all in one if you have taken a type of medicine called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) in the last 14 days. MAOIs include the antidepressants phenelzine, tranylcypromine, isocarboxazid and moclobemide, and the anti-Parkinson's medicines selegiline, safinamide and rasagiline. This is because the combination of phenylephrine with these medicines could cause a dangerous increase in blood pressure (hypertensive crisis).

Applies to acetaminophen / guaifenesin / phenylephrine: oral liquid. Serious side effects of Beechams All-in-OneIndications: The relief of symptoms of influenza, feverishness, chills and colds including headache, sore throat pain, aches and pains, nasal congestion, sinusitis and its associated pain, and acute nasal catarrh. Paracetamol is a painkiller that can relieve a headache and mild to moderate aches and pains associated with colds and flu. Paracetamol also works to bring down a fever and this stops you feeling hot or shivery. If you're taking medicines for high blood pressure you shouldn't take Beechams max strength all in one, because the decongestant may make your blood pressure medicine less effective. Side effects: See SPC for full details. Hypersensitivity reactions including skin rashes, urticaria, allergic dermatitis, angioedema, and anaphylaxis. Bronchospasm, hepatic dysfunction, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis and acute pancreatitis. Nervousness, irritability, restlessness, excitability, headache, dizziness, insomnia, increased blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, dysuria and urinary retention. Tachycardia, palpitations, dyspnoea. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactose deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.

Each 20ml liquid contains 500mg paracetamol, 200mg guaifenesin and 10mg phenylephrine. Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over should take one 20ml measured dose (or four 5ml spoonfuls) every four hours as necessary. Do not take more than four doses in 24 hours. Allergic reactions such as a rash or itching. Stop using this medicine and get medical advice if you think you've had an allergic reaction to it. If you take Beechams max strength all in one in the hour before or the six hours after taking colestyramine, the paracetamol is likely to be less effective. This is because colestyramine reduces the absorption of paracetamol from the gut.An overdose of paracetamol is dangerous and capable of causing serious damage to the liver and kidneys.

A minor hydroxylated metabolite which is usually produced in very small amounts by mixed-function oxidases in the liver and which is usually detoxified by conjugation with liver glutathione may accumulate following paracetamol overdose and cause liver damage.
