We’re celebrating 10 years of fruitful partnership with our friends over at Coldpress, and their crisp, delicately sweet Pink Lady® apple juice. To mark this milestone, we’re offering a very special prize: a trip to the Pink Lady® orchard estate in France to see harvest time in action. Vibrant Appearance: As the name suggests, this apple is known for their vibrant pink blush. This eye-catching hue sets them apart from other apple varieties and makes them instantly recognizable. Two things here. First, there’s no telling which version of the Pink Lady they are condemning—Prohibition scrambled the formula, so while our current recipe is settled and more or less the original (plus an egg white), various versions over the years would lose the citrus or apple brandy, and add things like cream, orange juice, nutmeg, or all three, and certainly some of those are worth condemnation. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data, which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.For the topping, combine the crumble ingredients - oats, demerara sugar, self-raising flour and chopped hazelnuts - in a large bowl. Pour over the melted butter and vanilla extract and stir to combine. In comparison, Cripps Pink apples fall short when placed beside the Pink Lady variety. They can be likened to the practice team, the stand-ins, the secondary choice – a disheartening batch of unfulfilled potential, reminiscent of retirees in a local theater troupe performing a melancholic act. The prize location and dates are subject to availability. Travel will be subject to hotel availability at the date of booking the trip. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for hotels / tours / inclusions etc. being withdrawn or amended.

The prize does not include any food and drink or travel expenses other than as set out above. The Winner will be responsible for ensuring that they and their guest are available to travel, as once travel dates have been set they may not be able to be changed. Caramel Apple Galette: Create a rustic tart by arranging apple slices on a buttery pastry and drizzling with rich caramel sauce. The Winner will be randomly selected by computer from all valid entries received during the competition period. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any issue of selecting a Winner, eligibility, claiming of the prize, or accepting an entry, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Contains little, if any, REAL juice. Most often the juice found at the market contains little to no actual juice. So pretty much you are paying to drink sugar water. Why not save yourself the money and put your table sugar into your water and mix. The timing of the harvest is approximately end of October / early November 2022 so the getaway will take place then, with exact date to be confirmed when competition closes.
