About this deal

Reach past the big screen and build the ultimate Transformers collection with Studio Series figures, inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe.

Not unlike Bonecrusher in the first movie, Revenge of the Fallen sees Mixmaster (and indeed, quite a lot of other Decepticons) emits some heavily processed, garbled Cybertronian noise that desire has occasionally led fans to misinterpret as real dialogue. The difference is that the DVD subtitles actually interpret the roar Mixmaster lets out before transforming to battle mode as the sentence fragment "Listen up..." Unlike Bonecrusher, no voice actor is listed in the end credits. INCH SCALE CONSTRUCTICON OVERLOAD: Figure is highly articulated, featuring vivid, movie-inspired deco, and includes 1 detailed accessory. Update: Several of our members pointed out that there are some non-official configurations for Devastator’s legs and head that will help you to display him in four-legged mode. Entertainment News International (ENI) is the #1 popular culture network for adult fans all around the world. By nature of the character design, the combiner is highly asymmetrical, with one arm made of two Deluxe figures and one arm of one Voyager, which may lead to imbalance/weight distribution issue. And the two legs, although of similar size and being in the same size class, are massively different in design, so the individual weight and even center of gravity might need to be carefully planned out.

Customer reviews

According to a catalog included with Revenge of the Fallen toys, the ONLY way for the Autobots to defeat Devastator is by combining Optimus Prime and Jetfire. I maintain my claim that this is the most ambitious project HasTak have done. Please remember: MPs are a completely different ball game altogether than retail. In the Pyramid Desert Battle scene from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the desert sands quake as the Constructicons combine to form Devastator. Mega Power Bots Devastator is a simple toy for younger children, featuring plenty of playing sounds and flashing lights. His limbs have limited swivel articulation and do not detach into separate vehicles. He has a distinctly more humanoid stature than normal.

After Optimus prime combined with Jetfire's parts, NEST informed him of an "ECHO ROMEO" terrorizing Cairo. When Optimus approached the signal, he discovered it was Devastator, leading him to engaged the titan. After a long and tiresome battle, Optimus triumphed over the giant, leaving Devastator in scraps. Devastator also has what appears to be two smaller excavator shovels that fold out of his mouth as he expands it to use his Vortex Grinder. At this point it feels as if the animators were just throwing in random construction equipment components all over the show to exaggerate his size, despite there only being between a debatable nine or ten vehicles visible pre-transformation. Also, spent a while trying to figure out how the struts on Scavenger peg into the giant wheel above his head, couldn't get it to work, then went out on a limb and popped one off and attached it to the other side. Wouldn't you know it, they were misassembled after all. I love this combined mode. Thanks to the nature of movie designs, he has details to look at for days. Not overly tall but is incredibly massive mass/volume wise. Makes for a gorgeous display piece. Put it in the middle of your house and people won't be able take their eyes off it.Every individual component is an individual stand alone release, with their own parts count incorporated in the budget, and this can be a double-edged sword. Previous Titans combiners like G1 Devs and Predaking's individual components suffered visible simplification when viewed as stand-alone figures because they were budgeted as one Titan class figure; however the combined mode arguably benefited from this because in general the less move parts in a given system, the more rigid this system is. Now each SS Devy component has to be their own stand-alone figure, with their own unique engineering. Hasbro's reps need to be able to market these as good enough individual figures to retailers, especially when the component releases span across several waves. Edit: Nevermind, Scavenger wasn't misassembled. I just tried attaching the struts while they were behind him instead of in front of him. Imagine you're Shogo Hasui around 2017. As part of the overseas product team you had been working on the new Studio Series a while and the whole team were having a blast especially with the movie CGI files available for reference. Then you went in a meeting one day and you were told Hasbro wanted the full Constructicons line up in the Studio Series, that can combine. And of course being the virtuoso veteran on the team, you were nominated to spearhead this project. Aside from all the wtf damn you Hasbro thoughts that also ran through Takashi Kunihiro san's head when he was handed the design task of the RotF Leader Prime/Jetfire combo, you sit down and take a look at some of the difficulties you have on hand: STUDIO SERIES LEADER CLASS: Leader Class figures are 8.5-inch collectible action figures inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe.
