About this deal

There are then multiple versions of both the C2 and C3, with names such as Silence, Total Solution and Cat & Dog. Each version has a similar design, but a different set of features and tools. Both vacuum cleaners are powered by 890W PowerLine motors. These are designed to comply with the latest EU regulations, but still provide ample suction.

Combine these settings with the retractable floorhead brushes, and we think it’s easy to move across different surfaces with a simple push of a button (or two.) It’s far less hassle than having to swap floorheads depending on the type of flooring. The Miele Calima comes with the STB 305-3 Turbobrush. It is activated by the suction of the machine, and its rotating roller brush loosens the dirt and sweeps up fluff and hair. Emptying is as simple as removing the sealed bag and putting it into the bin. There’s even a colour-coded system inside the vac to make it easier to insert the correct dust bag. In terms of weight, the Pure Red is around average for a cylinder vacuum at 7.3kg. It’s certainly not the best option if you’re looking for a lightweight vacuum, but most of the weight is pulled around on wheels (unlike with upright vacuums.) For comparison, the classic Henry cylinder vacuum weighs 8kg, while the Miele C1 Compact is a much lighter 4.3kg. Fortunately, the C3 Pure Power’s cleaning performance is still top-notch on medium settings. You don’t always need to use the strongest power to achieve good cleaning results. CarpetsWe think the Miele C3 Pure Red is one of the best vacuums on the market. It’s excellent for cleaning all types of hard floors and carpets, despite not having a motorised brush bar. We also like that it’s easy to use and has a hygienic bagged emptying system. There are three attachments included with the Miele C3 Complete Pure Red Powerline: a natural-bristle dusting brush, an upholstery nozzle, and a crevice tool. The accessories are built to a high-standard and the on-board tool storage means you’re less likely to lose them. The C3 has a “Single Touch” cord rewind function. This is one of our favourite extra features of the Miele. Miele Complete C3 is a series of cylinder vacuum cleaners. This line vacuum cleaner offers a large radius of operation. Also, all models feature good air filtration along with powerful suction. Each Complete C3 has variable speed motors to ensure a suitable level of power when you're vacuuming your space.

As we mentioned earlier, the C3 Pure Power has six suction power settings that are controlled by foot pedals. These are useful for a range of surface types, as indicated by the illustrations on each setting. You can preset for delicate surfaces, like curtains, all the way up to the top suction for carpets. C2 Complete Allergy PowerLine – Unlike the standard C2, the Allergy version has a HEPA AirClean filter to remove allergens from the air. If you suffer from allergies, the C2 Complete Allergy is one of the best vacuums on the market. Aside from specific features, we found the C3 to be easy to manoeuvre around the home. It’s also easy to adjust the height of the telescopic tube, which is great for getting rid of cobwebs or if different members of the family will be using it. FiltrationBut how does the Miele compare to other cylinder vacuum cleaners? Does the bagged design make for easier and hygienic emptying? Read our Miele Complete C3 Pure Red review to find out everything you need to know about this vacuum. Overview of the Miele Complete C3 Pure Red Powerline’s Features The world of Miele vacuums can be confusing. It’s important to understand how the company names its products, so you can choose the best vacuum for your home. The C3 HomeCare+ cylinder vacuum cleaner features handle controls and electrobrush with LED for demanding situations. The C3 Powerline’s relatively small trio of wheels on the underside move very well on smooth hard floors but struggle a little on carpets or floors with nooks, crannies, lumps and bumps. The cleaner follows you around on carpets regardless as the flat base tends to slide fairly easily over pile anyway. The bumper strip around the main body ensures that even adventurous high-speed cornering manoeuvres should keep your furniture undamaged. Miele puts a lot of thought into making their vacuums easy to use. The C2 and C3 both benefit from features such as automatic cable rewind, multiple suction modes, and an easily extendable wand.

The C3 Pure Red comes with Miele’s Allteq combination floorhead. We think this universal floorhead is a great all-rounder that’s suitable for both carpets and hard floors, due to the retractable brushes. Miele's C3 SoftCarpet vacuum cleaner features an Electro Plus electrobrush. This comes with a Built-in "SoftCarpet" mode that was specifically designed to provide you with the best possible results when vacuuming on soft carpets. The bagged design of the Miele C3 Pure Power makes the vacuum more hygienic than bagless alternatives. HyClean dust bags are self-sealing when you open the vacuum’s body, which minimises the chance of dirt and allergens escaping when you need to empty it. Despite the weighty design, we think the Miele C3 Pure Red has excellent handling and is simple to use. The design and casters make it easy to move around a furnished home, while the wide cleaning radius reduces the restrictive feel of a corded vacuum. The Miele C3 Pure Power isn’t the best vacuum for cleaning stairs. While it’s compact enough to balance on a step, the power cord isn’t long enough to cover a whole flight of stairs. This means you’ll need to carry the heavy vacuum with you. There also aren’t any headlights, which some people prefer. But overall, it’s a quality universal floorhead that feels sturdy to use on a mix of floor types. Other Tools and Accessories
