In previous sets, I have held to high praise, and this is no different. If anything, it shows that LEGO seem to keep building on top of an idea and refining better and better along the way. It knows where it stands and doesn’t try to be anything more than that. And it works. Thanks for reading, if you enjoyed this please leave a comment below. Its array of colors and rare translucent dark pink dome piece makes it a decent enough set to be worth buying and splitting up for resale. A variety of curved and cheese slopes have been used to give the lagomorphs an organic appearance, and they both look suitably winsome. Despite their different stances they share the same head and hind leg design.

This is quite a mediocre value compared to other seasonal sets increased such as the Lego Christmas sets which have seen over a 300% value increase. You have 2 options to decorate the rabbit’s surroundings – a clutch of brightly coloured Easter Eggs, or 3 tulip-like flowers, blossoming in spring. My 5 year old daughter helped put the set together for me, and didn’t need a lot of help. She really likes Easter (and Easter Eggs), so she was ecstatic to piece this set together.

Both options are brightly coloured, with some really fun colour combinations, and you can also mix things up and use both flowers and easter eggs in the scene. egy húsvéti dekorációt – A 287 elemből egy olyan jelenetet alkothatsz, ami 2 nyuszit, 5 húsvéti tojást és 3 tulipánt tartalmaz, amik mellett egy díszítési tippeket adó építési útmutató is vár rád If you’re looking for a fun seasonal LEGO set, and also enjoy building animal shapes and forms, this is the set for you. The added customisation of the scene is also another fun bonus, and this really is a great standalone set that oozes Easter cheer. I liked the height difference, which gives it a sense of dynamism, and also the generous use of tiles, and curved slopes to give it a smooth, wavy look. That and the use of 3 different shades of green give the base a pleasant pop of colour. Easter Rabbits Display is a really well put together and designed seasonal set. LEGO have tried the solo animal build before, but introducing a companion really ups the playability, and interactivity of the model as it makes it look less like a statue or model, but a fully self-contained scene.

Both rabbits are delightful, and have distinct poses which I really like – a nice improvement over the Lovebirds which were identical to each other, except for colour variations. A pair of rabbits are an obvious fit for Easter, but the symbolism also works to welcome in Spring (in the Northern hemisphere) as well, and there’s a fun way to switch up the display. Some printed Easter Eggs would’ve been nice, but understand they need to keep prices accessible for these set Easter Rabbits Display is a fantastic set for builders on a budget, or if you enjoy collecting LEGO’s annual seasonal themes, and is the front-runner for me so far. I really cannot wait to see what other animals we get this year! Special thanks to the LEGO Group for providing this set for review 40523 Easter Rabbits Display Set Details

The bunnies in this set are absolute spot-on winners. The base is also attractive and solid. All together, though, it’s a bit busy. There really isn’t space to fit both bunnies and all of the accessories on the base at the same time, so you can mix-and-match which eggs and flowers you like best, but then you’re left with the question of what to do with the others. They will stand up on their own, but fall over (and roll!) extremely easily. Like the lovebirds, it's hard to find fault with it. It's perhaps not quite on a par with the parrots though, simply because that one is bursting with colour. Nevertheless, it's well-designed, displays well, full of useful parts, and priced very reasonably for the number of pieces: everything you could want from a LEGO set. The eggs are colorful and lovely. One of them is topped with a pink opalescent dome that was new in 2021 and has only been in five sets previously. My youngest aptly described it as “whoa, that’s a cosmos piece”. The flowers are simple, with “tooth” petals, and very short stems. The proportions look a little odd, but a longer stem would have been very fragile without extra parts for reinforcement, so the decision is understandable. The base is a vibrant combination of bright green, green and lime green. It's perhaps unnecessarily elaborate and extravagant, but it does look great as a result.Other than hinged ears, there's no articulation, but that's enough to change their character from alert to inquisitive. Like the Valentine Lovebirds, 40523 Easter Rabbits is designed to be built as a group activity – there are 2 separate manuals, one for each rabbit, which makes this a really fun experience, if you like building with your spouse, partner, kids or friends.

The brown rabbit’s “rubbing its hands together gleefully” look is also very cute! Add in some extra details like darker fur colours on their bellies, and you have a pair of really cute, masterfully designed rabbits! These are a follow up to 40522 Valentine Lovebirds which was released earlier this month, so for those of you who like collecting these small seasonal sets, let’s take a closer look at 40523 Easter Rabbits Display! Keepability [4] – Seasonal sets are usually quite collectable, and this year’s has that special x-factor with the animal pairs.
