This step makes a big difference to both the final finish and how long the finish lasts. Spray on, leave, spray off. It’s pretty much that simple. It needs to be hand dried, and I’m using an Autoglym synthetic chamois to dry the paint panels. This stops spotting appearing and takes about 10 minutes to do the whole car. Don’t forget to protect your wheels once you’ve finished cleaning them, it would be a shame for all that hard work to go to waste! But remember to leave on your wheel protector for several hours before hitting the road again. Cleaning your car interior Polar Wash replaces Pressure Wash, our previous pressure washer shampoo. The formulation has been reformulated and is stronger than its predecessor. We would only recommend its use in place of a shampoo if your paintwork has very light soiling. In these circumstances please ensure you rinse the vehicle first to remove any heavier contamination.
Polar Seal is a durable hydrophobic coating. However, it does not offer the same long-term protection as Ultra High Definition Wax or Extra Gloss Protection. Only a small amount of Polar Seal is required. Pour no more than 40ml (four capfuls) into your foam bottle and then add at least 200ml of water. This should be all the finished solution required to cover your vehicle. There is no benefit in using any more than 40ml as over application can compromise the finish. There is no benefit to building layers of Polar Seal. We would only recommend reapplication once water beading has ceased. We certainly do not recommend application more than once a month. Spray Polar Seal onto the clean, wet vehicle, ensuring all exterior surfaces are covered, although avoid direct application to the windscreen.
Yes it can be used neat. However we would recommend a 50:50 dilution rate for the best results. It is up to the user to find a dilution the best works for them. Don’t assume that once your wheels look clean, then the job’s done, Autoglym recommends adding a Tyre Dressing to completely transform the sidewalls of your tyres.We would strongly recommend the use of a foaming lance or foamer bottle in conjunction with a pressure washer to create the optimum foam levels. Polar Wash is a safe and effective cleaner applied after using Polar Blast to remove excess dirt, traffic film and grime from your paintwork. Polar Seal is wax safe and we would recommend that if there is wax on the paintwork that Polar Seal is used as a top up. There is no need to remove the wax or other protection before applying Polar Seal.
Leave Polar Blast time to dwell and loosen dirt for up to 10 minutes, although do not allow it to dry on.Any increase from 50/50 doesn’t really have any noticeable effect and would just result in an unjustified increase in CPA. Specialist Features (6/10)
