About this deal

Lithium Polymer battery with up to 6 hours battery life. I’ve found the battery life to be quite good though this is going to depend on what you’re doing with it. Geo GeoFlex 230 13.3-inch Convertible Windows 10 FHD Laptop, Intel Pentium Quad Core, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD Also I tried to install linux on the laptop, thinking it will manage the 32gb much better. Unfortunately, the WiFi chip (Intel 3165 AC) used in these laptops is a chip from hell for linux. It is considered to be one of the worst wifi chips ever produced. Even Intel dropped support recently. I tried with a Samsung 8860 EVO, and my battery seemed to vanish altogether. Neither windows nor Linux saw a battery any more. It worked without PSU, so the battery was there, despite what the sensors said. SA , SY, LD, CF, NP, HR, GL, OX, GU, PO, SL, HP, LU, AL, SG, CM, SS, RM, DA, ME, CT, TN, RH, BN, TR, PL, TQ, EX, TA,

Access to the CMOS menu is available on mine just by holding the delete key immediately when turning on. Reveals the longest and most detailed CMOS menu that I’ve ever seen before. The extra capacity on its own makes this upgrade worth it – but it is a bit of a faff. You’ll likely need to reinstall Windows once you’ve done it. To do this you’ll need to make sure you have all the GeoFlex drivers. I’ll give you details later in the post on how to do that. Have now installed a 250gig version of the WD Green M2 SATA drive you linked to and yes laptop is much faster. Storage, RAM and processor are not upgradeable – at least not easily if at all. The RAM and processor are adequate and most laptops won’t allow processor upgrades anyway. But the storage is a problem. Update: The storage can in fact be upgraded.Remember though, you MAY be invalidating your warranty. You do so at your own risk and I am not responsible if you do. I’ve Bought The M.2 SATA Drive, now what? You can choose whether to use the drive as an additional drive, or whether you want to reinstall Windows. Reinstalling Windows

You’ll need to go at a very flat angle. Otherwise there’s a strong chance that you’ll end up doing what I did and insert the card underneath the port. Clearly, it won’t work if it’s not inserted correctly. You’ll know if you’ve got it right. The card should snap into position and clip under the small plastic clip at it’s far end. If it’s inserted underneath the port it won’t lie flat and will be difficult to clip in. And it won’t work. Is It Worth Upgrading The Storage On The Geo Flex 2 in 1 Laptop? Good battery life for every day situations. Isn’t going to be great for gaming demands (but then this isn’t designed for that). I have done the upgrade with the same WD m.2 SSD that you used but now have a problem. My battery is draining really fast. I’m not sure if this is due to to the drive or Windows update which was done. Would you be lost without this electrical product? If your product can't be repaired, it will be replaced with no excess to pay. The eMMC is soldered to the board and didn’t occupy the M.2 slot. It was extra. So, I had 32G eMMC and 128G M.2 SATA.Thanks for any help, and if anyone else reading this comment is also willing to help provide this information, thank you in advance! No, unfortunately it’s one of the only things I couldn’t get to work and it’s daft. I rarely used it in tablet to be fair so it didn’t bother me greatly. If I find the answer I’ll let you know though In this article I review the GEO Flex 2 in 1 laptop and decide whether it’s worth the price that Curry’s PC World ask for it. Windows 10 Home (in S Mode) for the widest range of software and peripheral device compatibility available Inserting the device is extremely fiddly. Take care not to touch any of the components on the board. Line the card up with the port and gently push the device into the port. If you have everything lined up correctly the device shouldn’t take too much to push it in.
