The prices are higher than other pubs in the area, but The Lower New Inn is a step up from your bog standard "pub grub".

Served in the luxurious surroundings of the Vale Grill Restaurant, the beautiful countryside views add to the ambience. Awesome! Went here as a family tonight for my Son's 13th birthday, first time any of us have been, it was Facebook recommended & wow were we blown away, picnic bench with burgers, fish & chips, potato skins, coleslaw, melon, strawberries & cream, cheesecake (to die for), Elton mess, trifle, scones, Victoria sponge & pink lemonade, out of this world & what we couldn't finish they gave us bags to take it home!
It was our first time to eat here and we weren’t disappointed. We had a warm welcome upon arriving. Good selection of drinks available, in particular the cloudy apple cider. Independently run cafe, the Cwtch Cafe, is the perfect retreat from a busy day of shopping in Swansea city centre.

It was nice to try something new and I was so surprised by the portion sizes. I thought it was similar to a full size meal with a selection of desserts. I will admit we were all defeated by the afternoon tea and had to take a few bits home.
