About this deal

Dreamland says: “All Dreamland blankets are extremely low to run, and cost from as little as 1p per night. So it’s worth investing in an electric blanket and turning your central heating off”. Of course it also depends on the cost of electricity our energy supplier is charging us per unit. About 6 years ago, when I bought the Dreamland Relaxwell Luxury Heated Throw, my electricity cost me only 12.5p per kwh. However today my electric cost me 20.49p per kWh. The heated wires within the throw are barely noticeable and they’re very thin and bendy so they don’t feel cumbersome. The Relaxwell heated throw comes in a clear plastic storage bag and has an easy-to-read instruction manual. Even without guidance, it’s pretty straightforward to plug in and get going with it. It feels just like a normal plush throw, super snuggly, and the heat-up wires within are barely noticeable. Lei Hang’s daughter Yasmin loves using the Dreamland Relaxwell Heated Throwto keep warm while watching a movie. Now based on my current electricity cost at 20.49p per kWh, it cost me 3p per hour on the highest heat setting, 5. On heat level 3 it currently costs me about 1.43 pence per hour. Therefore for 9 hours of use on level 3 heat setting, it’s costing me approximately 13p.

Dreamland's best-selling throw offers the ultimate in luxury, perfect for relaxing on the sofa while being cocooned in warmth under the heated throw. It's great for taking the chill away, providing comfort when you're feeling under the weather, or simply in need of some warmth and relaxation. This versatile throw is ideal as a gift and a must-have addition to any student's essentials for university. It's perfect for snuggling under while studying or unwinding. may seem steep for a blanket, but the Relaxwell heated throw is a game-changer for home-workers and anyone trying to keep the gas bills down this winter.Based on my electric price 6 year ago, it only cost me 1.8 pence per hour on the highest heat setting (5). Since I mainly used heated blanket on heat setting 3, I’m guessing it uses about 70 watts per hour. Based on this estimation it would have cost me about 0.875p per hour. So for 9 hours of use at heat level 3 it would have cost me approximately 7.9 pence. With one point available for each of the bolded elements above, I score the Relaxwell heated throw 3/4 for product feel and style. Product care With one point available for each of the bolded elements above, I score the Relaxwell heated throw 2/2 for product care. Value for money With energy prices at all time high, reducing the amount of energy we use has never been as important as now. However it’s still important to keep warm during the colder winter months, without having to worry about our energy bills. I have to say, I’m already dreading the energy price cap increase in April, which Ofgem has announced. Unfortunately there are no 1p per hour electric heaters, but thankfully there are very economical alternatives. The cheaper heating option would be an electric blanket or a heated throw.

Once the temperature and timer control is unplugged, the Relaxwell heated throw can be popped in the washing machine and can also be tumble dried, a handy factor, especially for family homes and pet owners. One of the stand-out factors of the Relaxwell throw is the cosy velvety, plush material. Even without the heat turned on this is a warming blanket. Unfortunately it's not made from sustainable material, it's 100% polyester, but we feel its energy-efficient properties and durability make it an item you can cherish for a long time. Feels and look beautiful, not too heavy, yes it is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. As for the warmth, amazing, if you'll watching T.V. one small warning you will fall asleep!😊 I'm a size 12 and I can make a human burrito with it. With it being a throw and not a traditional style under sheet electric blanket you place on the mattress you can switch from keeping warm on the sofa to keeping snuggly and warm in bed with great ease. With one point available for each of the bolded elements above, I score the Relaxwell heated throw 10/10 for performance and features. Product feel & style
