Light to Medium Gorgeous! This stuff is magic. I’ve never used any self tanner ever and The Butter gave this novice a lovely glow after first application. I’ve been building on it and it looks great. To note I also tried the Tan Luxe Illuminating Self Tan Drops but I couldn’t get the consistency correct and it got messy dolloping out hunks of lotion, putting the drops in and then putting it on. This is ready to go. Or should I say ready to GLOW! I used the light to medium but thinking next will be medium to dark. Apply: Apply to dry skin with a tanning mitt using large circular motions from head to toe lightly covering hands, elbows and feet. Do not shower for at least 4 hours post application. Since the summer season in the Northeast US is on its way, I wanted my pasty skin to be gone, so I figured it was time to give their products a try. NOTE: While I would consider my complexion light, I self-tan my face year-round and self-tan my body in the warmer months. Whenever tanners come in Light, Medium, or Dark options, I usually choose Medium and have success. In my experience, the same holds true for Isle of Paradise products.I hate normal fake tanning and so I have used gradual tans for a while. although it is more expensive than supermarket alternatives I do notice a difference, I find it has a nicer colour and is more natural looking as well as having more noticeable results after only one or two applications. I would recommend making sure your skin isn't too dry before using it by, exfoliating and pre-moisturising the day before, other than that I think it is brilliant. The unpleasant self-tanning smell that unfortunately comes with most self-tanners is minimized in Isle of Paradise products. Complete your usual evening skincare routine and use this self-tanning mist as the last step of your routine. Shake well to mix the two layers of the self tanner. With these Isle of Paradise drops and all self-tanning products, be sure to wash your hands after application to avoid unwanted stains on your palms and in between your fingers!
