In the GameRevolution review, I noted the problem with takedown animations occurring far away from the enemy. Unfortunately, this is not included in the list of known issues. Ultimately, where the latest Saints Row game suffers the most is from an issue common among many older open-world titles — draw distance.

Los Panteros treat their bodies no different than their cars: they are both assets and weapons, As such, they spend as much time working out to keep their bodies in shape as they do tuning up their cars. They also treat their bodies as a source of personal expression, displaying their panther pride through elaborate tattoos. I watched the opening on YouTube last week and can confidently say I’m never touching this garbage. Awful. Saints Row (2022) follows the founding and rise of The Saints, a growing criminal empire that shares a logo, color scheme, and theme with the infamous 3rd Street Saints of previous titles. Deep Silver Volition sought to return Saints Row to its roots in the narrative, and I found that the studio largely succeeded — the story of Saints Row (2022) shares more with the first two Saints Row titles than the latter two.nessisonett "Tempted to play it because if it’s annoying the right sort of people then it’s clearly onto something." The Idols are an anarchist cult, intent on bringing down “the system”—i.e. the entire social, cultural, political, and economic structure of the day—through acts of violence and mayhem. What, exactly, they intend to replace that structure with they’re a little fuzzy on. But man, oh man, do they want to bring it all down. And they have chosen Santo Ileso as the place to make their statement. Both the visual and technical performance in Saints Row (2022) leave much to be desired, especially considering the powerful platform on which it's running. Gameplay fixes for the four missions where the player can die during cinematics, a soft crash occurs, and the next part of an objective failing to trigger. Ending the Saints Row hiatus and returning the historic open-world series to relevancy made a reboot of the entire franchise necessary. Older Saints Row games were amazing for their times but fell out of favor in a rapidly evolving industry when they ran out of room to expand.

Blaze215 Seems pretty logical to me. I find that if people I generally disagree with don’t like something, there’s a good chance that I’ll like it just fine, and I’m guessing that @nessisonett feels the same. Bit of a mistake for them to release the character customisation tool before the game. I was just left disappointed that you can’t create the same variety of body shapes (Ahem!) that you could in the past. Put me off the game a bit and now I’ve moved on to other things. Maybe when it hits plus I’ll give it a go. Saints Row®: The Third™ – Remastered gives you control of the Saints at the height of their power, and you live the life to show for it. This is your City. These are your rules. Remastered with enhanced graphics, Steelport the original city of sin, has never looked so good as it drowns in sex, drugs and guns.Take to the Streets and the Skies – Blast through urban and desert environments in any one of the cars, bikes, planes, helicopters, VTOLs, hoverbikes, hoverboards, go-karts or equip your wingsuit to swoop around. ShogunRok - Thanks for the review! You mention 25-ish hours for the story, does that include the side content? Character customization has always been a part of the Saints Row franchise, and Deep Silver Volition went all out to deliver the most in-depth options of any Saints Row game yet. Saints Row (2022) lets you customize every aspect of your character, vehicles, and weapons, and even features some customization options for your companions, your gang members, and The Saints HQ. One of the major complaints at launch was that the open-world element felt inadequate. The “world” felt empty. The city was desolate, one-dimensional and flat.

Kevin is a music-loving thrill seeker who knows how to throw a party, and he’s the Saints publicist and fixer. He’s a notorious Santo Ileso DJ with connections all over town, which makes him the guy who knows the guy who knows the guy; if you need something, Kevin knows who can get it for you. He loves people, is super loyal to his friends, and would do anything for them. He’s also a great cook… and, given his connection to the Idols, he’s got no qualms at all about breaking eggs to make his omelets. Amnesiac ok yes true there are games such as visual novels out there like that but saints row isn't one of them. So my point saying the comment about this game is childish and bitter still stands. I do get your point that some games can be less about the gameplay though so you're right in saying gameplay doesn't always have to be the deciding factor but for the majority of games, gameplay is the most important Amnesiac That logic you speak of makes no sense. I'm guessing it's the political aspect that people are pissed off about but I really don't know or care for that matter. So if someone idealogically opposed to you doesn't like a video game then you'll probably like it? My god maybe u would want to play the game first yourself and see, I know, crazy ideaThese are very, very minor technical complaints though, and do not detract from the overall quality and enjoyability of the game. One thing Saints Row really ramps up is its suite of collectibles. Photographing various points of interest earns you money and XP, while you can also snap glowing statues or signs to hang in your HQ. Not that you will; I placed two identical windmills in front of my base and, after realizing each decoration area corresponded to a specific size limit, I couldn’t be bothered. It’s just not that type of game, especially because there’s nothing to make you spend real time at your HQ. Your four-strong gang of misfits have strong acting talent, but very little character depth. Volition / Plaion Erm, after watching DF’s analysis it looks like I’ll grab it on PC. I usually play new games on console but 1080p with shaky 60 fps… seriously?
