If you err, you lose! The person with the maximum points wins this team building activity. So please, oh please, we beg, we pray, go throw your TV set away, and in its place, you can install a lovely bookshelf on the wall." - Roald Dahl Here’s a clip of Ben Langley’s audition on Britain’s Got Talent, where he puts a hilarious spin on the commonly misheard lyrics, ranging from The Lion King to the iconic Celine Dion song ‘All By Myself’. The Guess Who" name is currently owned by former bassist Jim Kale, who is now retired but has allowed the name to be used by the current lineup of musicians. [2] In 1977, Kale asked Burton Cummings for permission to use the Guess Who name for a single reunion concert and discovered the name had never been trademarked in Canada. Kale then acquired the trademark himself in 1978, unbeknownst to the other members. [2] Kale used his ownership of the name to tour on the nostalgia circuit in the United States semi-regularly until the 2010s with a wide variety of musicians called "The Guess Who". [52] [53] Under Kale's leadership, several non-charting albums were released under The Guess Who name, supported by a revolving lineup of musicians with no historic connection to the band. [2] During this period, Kale temporarily retired multiple times, leaving no original band members performing on the nostalgia circuit. Drummer Garry Peterson sporadically appeared in such lineups as well. After Kale's retirement in 2016, Peterson is the last remaining original member and continues to lead a band using The Guess Who name. [54] The band using The Guess Who name has also performed without any original members present. [55] To play this virtually, split the team into groups of 2. The Team moderator sends a list of about 10 words to one player from each group. Make sure that the words are unique for every team. There are four different games that you can play with Electronic Guess Who? Extra. This section will explain the rules for classic Guess Who?. Any additional rules needed for the other three games will be presented in their sections. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance between original characters and real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental) As the game progresses, use deductive reasoning to make educated guesses about your opponent's character. Keep asking questions and eliminating characters until you are confident in your Guess. Objective: Your objective is to guess the mystery person on your opponent’s card by asking one question per turn, and eliminating gameboard faces that don’t fit the mystery person’s description. The final game that Electronic Guess Who? Extra adds is Guess Who 2. Basically Guess Who 2 is the same as normal Guess Who? except that the players are trying to guess two characters at the same time. This might not sound like much but it adds a lot more to the game than you would expect. Having to come up with questions that give you useful information for two different characters takes some work. You need to be careful when asking questions so you don’t make a false assumption. This variation actually eliminates quite a few of the problems from the original Guess Who? as you can’t really use the same winning strategy as efficiently. I think Guess Who 2 actually adds quite a bit of strategy to the game. After playing with this variant I don’t know if I would ever want to play with the normal rules ever again.
