Viz Media Launches Fun, Adorable Kids' Manga Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll | Viz Media". Viz.com. 12 January 2012. Archived from the original on 30 April 2012 . Retrieved 29 April 2012. Overall, this manga succeeds in providing an extended glimpse into the world of Cinnamoroll. At the very beginning of the book, you get to meet his adorable friends and witness their cute yet zany interactions as they deal with the exciting situations that pop up for them. The first three comics you read in this manga are in full-color. The colors are vibrant and well-blended into the lines, allowing for a lot of the finer details of Cinnamoroll’s world to shine brighter.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE Cinnamoroll, the flying sky puppy of Sanrio. As one of Hello Kitty's friends, he's usually a side character, but this manga focuses on the adventures of him and his best friends, all of whom are cute puppies. Unlike Cinnamoroll, these puppies can't fly, but they sure are cute. As a shoujo manga, it's full of kawaii goodness and plenty of moments that make me

Rebecca Silverman of the Anime News Network ranked the series "B" overall, "B−" for the story, and "B" for the art. Silverman argued that the book has a "sweet story, simple art, and bright colors" that appeal to its intended audience, although the book would not hold the interest of an adult reader; she stated "All in all," the first two volumes of the series "provide a nice transition from the picture book to the chapter book, or simply an alternative for the reluctant reader." [3] It's confirmed that "Cinnamoroll" is not his real name. It's instead used as a stage name or an overseas trademark, similarly to how Hello Kitty is a stage name for Kitty White. Despite his strange appearance and abilities, Cinnamoroll soon finds his place at the cafe among the other puppies. Thanks to his new friends, Cinnamoroll enjoys a life now filled with fun and adorable adventures—even while steering clear of the troublesome cloud kid Cavity. This series tells the story of a cloud puppy who learns how to fly and moves into a café. The cafe's owner believes that the puppy's tail looks like a cinnamon roll, so the owner gives him the name "Cinnamoroll" ("Cinnamon" (ふわふわ Shinamon) in the Japanese version). He and his friends go on adventures and face the antagonist, a dark cloud named Cavity. As many of you know, I’ve been turning to classic comics to keep me entertained during the coronavirus outbreak/quarantine/social distancing. With release dates rapidly changing (like it did for the second volume of What’s Michael?), many people of the otaku persuasion are turning to older forms of media for our entertainment. Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll Vol. 1 was initially published on January 3, 2012, making it dated but still more than cute enough to catch my attention. January 3 is also my birthday, so I figured I was destined to read this manga. Plus, Cinnamoroll and Milk look so sweet on the cover.

The Cinnamoangels soon became a famous, underground street trio after lots of time, and Galette found out about them. Soon, Mocha confessed her feelings for Galette and turns out Galette had the same feelings. And Rosella was actually Galettes cousin. Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll Vol. 1 is a light-hearted read for Sanrio fans. Fuwa Fuwa Shinamon is the Japanese title of this 5-volume series. This manga proves that Cinnamoroll has a colorful universe of his own that’s worth exploring. Light spoilers ahead! Reason for Reading: Always looking for good, clean, fun manga for younger kids. This piqued my interest.

There he meets several other puppies: the friendly and stylish Mocha, the lax and bug-loving Cappuccino, the energetic tomboy Chiffon, the artistic and spoiled Espresso, and the cute baby Milk! He also meets a human girl who runs the cafe, and, upon noticing his tail, she names him Cinnamoroll. Cinnamon now lives with Anna at Cafe Cinnamon, though she's never made any appearances outside Cinnamon: The Movie. I recently completed all five volumes of Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll. I was looking for something that allowed me to explore a nook of the Sanrio universe in depth, and this series totally did that for me!

A puppy who uses his bunny-like ears to soar through the clouds deserves to be featured in more media. I’m a bit disappointed that the manga didn’t feature Lloromannic, but I guess demons like Berry and Cherry aren’t fluffy enough for this series. However, I recognize that this was my own expectation and nothing more. Cinnamoroll ( Japanese: シナモロール, Hepburn: Shinamorōru) is a franchise created by Sanrio in 2001. The character is from Miyiki okumara. The main character, Cinnamoroll is a young male white puppy with long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks, a small plump body, and a tail that resembles a cinnamon roll. He starred his own manga, [1] an anime movie and various short animations. This Sanrio manga is the result of a collaborative effort. You see, Yumi Tsukirino is credited for the story and illustration for the series. Chisato Seki, however, came up with the original concept. With their powers combined, they made a fun and kawaii manga series for the world to enjoy. According to Wikipedia, the manga originally ran in Pucchigumi, a monthly children’s manga magazine, and remained serialized in Japan from 2005 to 2008. Like the Japanese series, there are five English volumes in total, all of which the children’s division of VIZ Media subsequently published during 2012. I figured I would start with the first one to see how I liked it.

Okumura was warned not to use blue as Cinnamon's image color, in fear of driving away the population of female fans. This ended up being a smart move, making Cinnamon a unique character in Sanrio's lineup. In 2017, Cinnamon celebrated his 15th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the city of Shinagawa has since appointed Cinnamon as the official tourism ambassador. In addition, the permanent Cinnamoroll Cafe opened in Shinjuku City, and an album titled "Cinnnamon Trip!!" was released, with songs written and composed by Vocaloid artist, OSTER Project. I feel like the United States doesn’t realize what it was missing when there was no English translation of this manga series available to us. Chisato Seki, Yumi Tsukirino, and VIZ Media did English-speaking kawaii fans a major solid when they released this manga series to the English-speaking market.

This manga will give you the much-needed dose of kawaii you need in the name of kawaii self-care. The art style is simple but striking, especially when you see it in color. This book has a “baby’s first manga” energy to it because it’s intended audience is 8 to 12 years old. Nonetheless, if I were a parent, I would feel safe showing my child this lighthearted manga and immersing them in the fluffy world of Cinnamoroll and his friends. EditSynopsis In a world full of magical creatures and talking animals, high above the skies live sentient creatures known as the "cloud kids." One such cloud kid—a white puppy with blue eyes, floppy ears, and a curly tail—struggles to learn how to fly and fit in with the rest of his kind.
