Description

Makita DSS501Z circular saw is one of the best circular saws that you can find in today’s market. Moreover, it is also included in the top tier in Makita’s list. It comes with a 136 mm blade length, making it easier for the users to cut into rigid materials. The power of this circular saw takes its users to surprise. THE Makita HS301DZ circular saw is one of the best inline for circular saws available in the Makita line. It Is a 12 V battery powered circular saw, producing enough power to cut through stubborn materials. Its 85mm blade may sound like a trim blade, but it actually gets the job done. The baseplate has a rough texture to it, and it didn’t seem very flat. After using it a few times the high spots on the shoe were getting marked already. It just didn’t slide smoothly enough. The silky smooth baseplate on the Makita HS7601J is much easier to slide across the surface of timber in comparison.

If you’re a left handed user, you might be annoyed that the safety thumb switch is on the left of the trigger. I can’t quite work out why Evolution have made a saw for right handers only that has the blade on the right side of the motor. Odd, to say the least. Makita is the industry’s top maker of professional power tools. The 5008MGJ/2 Circular Saw has a 1,800-watt motor that can spin up to 5,200 times per minute. With a maximum depth of 75.5mm at 90 degrees, the 5008MGJ/2 has an intense cut.the tool is not an Air Compressor/ Air Tool, a Battery/ Charger, an Accessory, or a Petrol or Production Tool Again, I suspect it’s down to the blade. The teeth are relatively small, and if they’re designed to work on multiple materials then they might not be fine-tuned for optimum cutting timber. I suspect that the multi-material blade is a good all-rounder but not ideal for any particular job.

Makita 1200W 190mm Circular Saw 240V | Toolstation

The Makita DSS610 Circular Saw features a double safety trigger to help reduce the risk of injury. It offers a high no load speed of 3,700 RPM and features a low vibration K factor of 1.5m/sec and has a low weight of 3.2 kg. Thanks to the trace cutting line you can achieve precise cuts, while the ergonomic design will reduce user fatigue. The Makita DHS680Z comes with an automatic speed control feature which turns out to be a great help. It also prolongs the battery life. The cutting speed automatically changes depending upon the load.

The Makita DSS611Z has an immense powered motor which makes it extremely fast. It is powered by an 18V battery, which delivers a smooth cutting experience required and expected by the users. The main trigger grip feels nice with my nitrile gloves on. There’s plenty of grip even without them on and it sits well in the hand, which is vital thanks to the weight of this big saw. The front handle is a bit disappointing though, it’s just hard ABS plastic without any added grip. It’s fine when you’ve got gloves on but without them it’s not so comfortable. I was actually quite surprised at how difficult it was to push the big Evolution saw through the English oak timber I had set up for the test. I honestly expected the saw to power through it, but it took more persuasion than perhaps necessary. I was under the impression that this heavy saw would be the most powerful one. The HS7601J features a new aesthetic design, an aluminium base plate, an aluminium die-cast safety cover for more outstanding durability, and a single action lever for easy cutting depth adjustment.
