About this deal

Bhallataka, Anala, Bhalli, Vira Vrksa, Agni Vaktraka, Aruskara, Aruska, Tapana, Agni Mukhi And Dhanu Are Sanskrit names of Semecarpus Anacardium. Bhallataka has the ability to penetrate deeply into the tissues. It increases the appetite, and treats conditions caused by weak digestion. It alleviates Vata, and Kapha. Sanjivani Vati works in indigestion associated with aggravation of Kapha Dosha and Ama Dosha. It reduces Kapha and eliminates Ama (toxins), which helps in alleviating the following associated symptoms: Triphala pacifies Vata-vikar, and cleanses the digestive tract. It aids elimination, and purification. It tones, and strengthens the digestive tract, and promote regular, and complete the evacuation of the bowels. It helps with the digestion, and assimilation of food, improves blood circulation, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Bhallataka is astringent in taste, and pungent in Vipaka. It is hot in potency, and cures Krimi (parasitic infection), Udara (obstinate abdominal diseases including ascites), Anaha (constipation), Sopha (oedema) Dumaman (piles), Graham (sprue syndrome), vitiated Kapha, and Vata, Agnimandya (suppression of the power of digestion), Ama, Jvara (fever), and Gulma (phantom tumor). Sanjivani Vati is very useful in typhoid fever. Along with Praval Pishti, it is given for 3 to 4 weeks for its treatment.

As Sanjivani vati might increase pitta dosha. So, it is not suitable for patients with aggravated and increased pitta dosha. If it is taken by such people, it can cause the following side effects:

Vatsanabha or Aconite refers to many species of the genus Aconitum viz., Aconitum ferox Wall., Aconitum napellus Linn., and Aconitum chasmanthum. The roots of all three plants are extremely poisonous. After their detoxification, they are useful in the treatment of various diseases such as fever, rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica, and hypertension. Dry ginger is called Shunthi. It tastes (rasa, and Vipaka), and hot in effect (Virya). It gives relief in Vata, and Kapha, and increases pitta. It is carminative, antiemetic, and thermogenic. It is useful in indigestion, low appetite, nausea, and piles.
