Arianna grew up in a loving home with an equally supportive network of friends. This is in stark contrast with Noah’s experiences. I loved how detailed the family interactions were. As a listener, I was completely invested in the outcome of the story. I'm not going to rate this book because it did bring out some emotions in me. I stewed in bed until I finally fell asleep and woke up still thinking about it. This is probably the longest review I've ever done. It probably makes zero sense because I am not a writer by any means. let me just say, the hype is real! i went into this pretty blind, not knowing much other than a few of the tropes and i’m so glad i did. this book is by far one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books i’ve ever read. Noah, sweet sweet Noah ~ what an all around delightful guy he was for being only 21. He and his mama had such a heartwarming relationship. So I liked this well enough, but I feel like I could have liked it a bit more about 10 years ago, not when these characters are close to my daughters age. I can’t be thinking about my precious girl doing all the things these kids are doing ~ fake id’s, underage drinking and hookin up and what not. Can’t say I didn’t do it myself, but ya know, not my sweet baby girl. Going to have to start phasing out of reading YA romance.

I just love when a book makes you feel so many emotions throughout the process of reading it and this book did just that and more!! Arianna Johnson “Ari,” her twin brother Mason, her closest friend Cameron, and their friends Brady and Chase make the decision to spend the remaining of the summer at their beach house together before they travel off to Vix for their first semester of college knowing that they won’t see each other as often as they have in the past. During their time at the beach home, Ari makes the decision to communicate her feelings to Chace because she believes that this will allow her to finally be with the guy she’s had her heart set on for a long time. For example, when the heroine is telling us (lots of telling in this book) about her twin brother and his two best friends, we get: i have never felt so deeply for book characters in my life, the love i have for them is unreal. i felt so at home reading about them and their relationships, and seeing how they develop through the book. and i am in awe of the characters and how beautifully they go together. The Book Say You Swear is a love triangle, college football sports romance with angst, friendships, love, and tragic moments that put me on an emotional rollercoaster and had me feeling all of the emotions. Say You Swear is set in a fictional town called Say you Swear, which is a play on the phrase “say you swear.”

Ari is a real cutie. I loved her character and I’m just so glad that she got what she deserved after having gotten treated so badly by Chase. Enter Chase again... Now that Noah has her, Chase sees and wants her. He is green with envy and tries to interfere whenever he can. One night Cam finally talked Arianna into going out with her because they would be on their own without the boys. During this outing, Arianna ran into Noah who, although enamored, recognized the hurt and brokenness that embodied her. Noah listened and acted like a real gentleman. They hit it off and began a wonderful friendship because he knew that is all she was ready for at that point. Trouble at Brayshaw High” is the second novel in the “Brayshaw High” series, and was released in the year 2019. She is told that she doesn’t belong. He gave Arianna trust and allowed her to go to Chase and try to talk to him because he knew she cared about him as a friend, but this hurt Noah because he really wanted her to choose him. Chase put the moves on her and Noah almost left because he thought she had chosen Chase over him, but Arianna apologized and it seemed all was well. When she meets Noah they become friends first. He teaches her to cook, talks with her and truly gets to know her. Noah is a gem of a man. QB of the football team, devoted son, and all around good guy. You can’t help but root for him. He’s not pushy with Ari, he knows she had feelings for someone else she’s getting over and he takes his time with her.
