About this deal

The Huawei 4G Router 3 Pro - B535-333 makes it possible to easily add an internet connection to an entire house or meeting room. Solving either would most likely enable the USG (and devices connected via it) to access the internet. There’s also the Vodafone GigaCube 4G, which has similar download speeds, but is worse for uploads (up to 50Mbps) and simultaneous connections (up to 20). High Speed WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity along with ethernet connections give you multiple ways to connect. B315 or choosing a superior 4G router (I am increasingly tempted by a Mikrotik; I may be back with questions about that soon!

Acceptable condition - Scratches visible when holding the device 30 centimeters away and perceptible to the touch. However, If the router is installed in a location with very poor or no 4G signal, it may only achieve very slow speeds around 5Mbit/s, or even no connect at all. But if I was using a Openwrt device like a ZTE mf286d I could install 464xlat and use it as a configuration. With two built-in high gain 4G antennas and two external antennas interface, the Wi-Fi signal stability and strength are improved. If that’s all you’re after then it’s competitive with devices from EE and Vodafone, but no match for the new Three 4G Hub.The B535-232 will work with any Sim Card worldwide and is perfect for the office or within your home. The item may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, or may be in the original packaging but not sealed.

I'm left thinking that the SIM probably has something set that's preventing it enabling an internet connection after successfully registering with the 4G network. The B535 WebBox can get up to 64 devices online at once, which is more than most people should need. So if you’re limited to a 4G signal and don’t want wired broadband, then the Huawei B535 is a top choice. While 5G is obviously faster, this is arguably the best 4G home broadband option available from a major network. This slim white rectangle comes in at 219 x 138mm and has a grey stand, slightly contrasting the colour of the box itself. That’s a good number – the 4GEE Home Router 2 and Three 4G Hub match it, but the Three 5G Hub only has two Ethernet ports, and some older routers only have one. I have tried *many* things, including putting the B535 into bridge mode and (separately) trying an APN profile that specifies IPv4 only.

I just discovered this forum and it looks like it may be a good place to ask for help (although I fear the answer may be that what I'm trying to do is not possible). Those are some great speeds, but in reality your speeds will probably be a lot lower, with download speeds in most cases topping out at more like 100Mbps. As for software, this isn’t something you’ll likely be interacting with much, but the Huawei B535 WebBox does have a simple web interface, allowing you to configure settings and read messages – as there’s no display, you have to access this from an external device. Deploying 464XLAT requires two special functions– client-side translation (CLAT) to translate client-side IPv4 traffic to encapsulated IPv6, and provider-side translation (PLAT), to translate from encapsulated IPv6 back to IPv4. The Huawei B535 WebBox / Huawei HomeFi Plus is one of the very best 4G routers available and arguably the best sold by a UK network at the time of writing.
